H&R Block

We went to this establishment because it is well advertised and very convenient. We did receive friendly and prompt service however we were charged a ton of money just to file our taxes. For personal taxes we were charged a rather large amount, and the woman helping us was also confused why the fee was so high. According to her the system automatically calculated the fee. Even though the service was decent, we did not end up filing our taxes through this company.

I promised the gentleman I had my taxes prepared for a 5 star google review. My taxes were a mess this year because I was dealing with forms I never dealt with and had signed too late to make much impact on my return. (Didn't know about them until I had needed them for months. Derp. Lol.)
He still worked thoroughly though and managed to squeeze a return out of the shambles I handed him. If every experience I had with H&R was like this there would never be a bad review of H&R on google. If this locations supervisor would like to hear more details about my experience I encourage you to make some noise to me and I will happily recant how patient and professional my H&R associate was.

***** I would also like to add a 5 star review to the office staff. They called me back when I had left a message for them on sunday, that day. I had an appointment for the next day. There was only a very understandable wait time to be seen (The shame is mine as I left my taxes to the last minute due to a very hectic schedule as of late. Anyone who waits this long to have their taxes done, boo! Boo to you! Myself included, shame!)

I will make sure I make an appointment with this gentleman next year. He turned my opinion of H&R block around completely.

I had nothing but problems dealing wth this H&R Block. Most of the people working at this locatin don't have a clue. Taxes are a big deal, and the people filing them should know what they are doing.
