Hsbc Bank

Nice people.

I'm working across the street and wanted to exchange my Christmas bonus of 3- one hundred dollar bills to 6- fifty dollar bills to share with my employees. I was told I needed an account which I don't have. I drove to the nearest Royal Bank where I do have an account and they didn't ask me for my account card or anything, they just exchanged money for money like a good bank should. Terrible service! I can promise you I will never get an account here!!

Been banking with them for a few years, and have always received good, friendly customer service here. The one issue I've had is that a lot of things (like opening an account) are actually handled in Vancouver or downtown, causing unnecessary delays for something that someone in the branch should be able to do easily. Once past the initial (annoying) hoops caused by over-centralization, I've been happy with the service in this branch.
