Very disappointed in how I was treated yesterday.
I had good enough service to purchase a fairly expensive chair at the Bay in Sunridge . I went to pick it up as instructed in their loading zone. I rang the doorbell and waited for quite sometime , finally the “garage”door was opened but it was unclear whether I should drive my car in or wait. No one spoke to me until I finally entered The loading dock. Finally it was time to load the chair, I am unsure of policy, as to loading into a customers vehicle, but I am visibly pregnant and in my 3 rd trimester and I had the “gentlemen” very curtly and rudely ask me to lift the chair with him. I was quite appalled to be honest, the chair was heavy and I should definitely not have been lifting it. He then just barely placed it in my SUV trunk and watched as I struggled to push it in and basically load it myself.
Not happy at all with this experience. The Bay has great items and they have always had my business! Sad to have had this interaction.
I tried to call customer service and waited on hold for over 20 minutes with no response.

Your white jeans support my ass like crazy; I will definitely be returning to shop here. I can think of no other place to spend my well-earned money.

Does anybody work here? This Hudson's Bay certainly does not do much justice to the brand. Reminds me of a tired old Sears. Limited products and messy store. There are far superior Hudson's Bay stores elsewhere in Calgary. Go to those ones.

I've been going to this location for a couple years (its close to my work) and overall been shopping at the bay for as long as I can remember.
I must say, I now avoid the jewellery section at this location because of one super rude employee.
Im one to brush things off but this is turning into a list of occurrences that I don't feel represent The Bay values towards their customers.
The first time I encountered this employee I was working on my bridal gift registry, I very politely asked if she could take a piece of jewellery out so I could add it to my registry. She gave me a look then actually walked away and went on her break, without saying a word. I was confused and assumed she didn't hear me.
A few days later went back in again to work on my registry and she was in the perfume section. I politely asked her to pull out a perfume and she did the exact same thing, turned around and walked away!
I was in there browsing one day and noticed this same girl helping a customer. The customer asked her if he could see a watch, she actually told him "no I'm not removing it from all that packaging if you're not going to buy it anyway"
The last straw was a couple weeks ago, I asked for help at the jewellery section and she snarled "can't you see I'm with a customer?!" I apologized and told her I wasn't paying attention then I turned away and walked out the store.

I was at the Estee Lauder counter like two days ago and the sales lady was very stingy about giving me samples to try. I needed a new color for foundation and wanted a sample but said she only had a litle left for customers ( guess they need almost half a bottle I saw)! And then told me to try a different one but still refused to give me a sample of that! Guess I will spend my money elsewhere! Seems like giving out samples are coming out of her own pocket!

No trendy men's clothing. Far better selection at the bay in market mall, Chinook, and South center.

I went to this store and bought as $350 necklace for my wedding and I was so excited! The lady who helped me was very friendly but the young girl who rang me threw was pretty rude and just threw my beautiful, expensive wedding necklace into a cheap box. I brushed it off as being sensitive and paid and left. The necklace was too short for my dress so I called the store and asked if I could return it with a different debit card as I had lost my old one. The receipt does NOT say you can't return without the same debit card so I was just asking to be sure. The lady said it would be okay as long as I bring in a form of picture ID. I drove to the store and they had to call the manager, who was some guy in jeans, t-shirt and a sweater who told me he could only give me a gift card with the same amount. I would understand if I didn't have receipts or if the necklace was $30 but $350 on a gift card is a joke. I was clearly upset but he told me there was nothing they could do. So I called a different store and returned it without my ID needed and without any problems. I will never buy anything from this location again. Very unsatisfied customer.
