We were in for just one quick night, for an evening function at the Hyatt.

Everything went great, from arrival to departure. The bar service, while killing an hour, was superb. Room was fine, sleep was easy, pool was warm which was very nice.

If they host the event again in 2018, there will be no debate on whether we stay there except it might be for 2 nights, and we live in Calgary. We just treated ourselves and it was worth it.

We really like the Hyatt, our one spot for staycations. The only thing I would suggest is that with large events like Rocky Mountain is maybe the Sandstone could stay open a little later not close the doors at midnight. Many guests from out of town and local performers like to sit visit after preforming they have to leave the hotel to get food and drinks.

Fix that and it would be perfect.

Very comfortable stay. Staff polite and helpful. High quality fixtures and fittings and I got to see the Blue Jays game on TV ...

The only place to stay in downtown Calgary. Great service and hospitality from the staff.

Staying at the Hyatt i felt so comfortable when things went wrong they was there to make sure we was taken care of.The hospitality there was unlike any other i expereinced in my life.The food was delicious.The rooms was spotless it was one of the most enjoyable stays i had.. Excellent building in a great location, managed by brilliant people. Both front office managers and the back room cleaners are fantastic and dedicated people. They make their customers feel at home, and never ever got tired of helping. Beautiful services all round, not common to find such, these days and age!

One of my favorite hotels in Calgary! While its architecture and interior design is not my favorite style - I prefer ultra-modern and minimalist design - the Hyatt Regency Calgary offers excellent service and hospitality, very clean rooms, and a perfect location, within view of The Bow, and within walking distance of CORE Shopping Centre (City Centre Mall), Stephen Avenue, and Calgary Tower. Conveniently, it's also located right across the street from a Milestones Grill and Bar.

It was good. For the price, I have been to better. I came an hour early to check in but was turned away.

Usually I love coming here, but this trip I got to my room and it feels like a motel room. Cheap feeling tub/shower, outlets that are coming off, an iron with a worn down setting dial so I can't see how hot I'm getting it, and a bed that creaks. If work weren't paying for this stay, I would definitely change locations. As it is, if I am in town for a conference again, I will be looking at some place else
