I really don't understand all the bad reviews on here. I love this clinic. Originally, my husband came to the clinic and he loved it so much, I decided to follow. The girls at the front desk, especially Hazel, are great to deal with. I had an emergency and she got me in right away. The girls make a scary situation a lot easier to face when they laugh and joke around with you. Both Dr. Tupper and Dr.Lee were GREAT to work with. They understood my concerns and out of 6 doctors I've seen in the last 2 months, they are the only ones who actually care enough to put in the extra time to help. I am more than willing to drive across the city to continue coming to this awesome clinic.

My family doctor practices in this clinic. The staff is so very accommodating. I am currently out of town and my prescription ran out. The pharmacy where I am was not helpful at all so I thought I would try to call Hygieia to see if they could do something about it for me but apparently my doctor is away on holiday as well. Long story short, they were able to get another doctor in the clinic to sign a prescription for me, fax it to the pharmacy and updated me on the status of my prescription all in a matter of 20 minutes. I am so pleased with this clinic. Everyone here is always looking out for my family's and my health. If you're looking for a new clinic or new doctor, this is the place to go!

Recently just moved to Calgary from BC and I believe I have found the best Family Clinic ever!!!!! Excellent staff that always gets you in quickly ( even as a walk-in), and the Doctors are always patient and listens to what I have to say. I totally recommend this clinic 5+++++

Very good and knowledgeable Doctors. Excellent front desk staff. Always kind, caring and will go beyond and above to help out patients.

Reception staff seem very rude and impatient. Unable to help. Doctor Lee was helpful in preparing me for my procedure, however they should refer patients to clinics with better hours. I got referred to Dr Haukes office which accepts patients until 1:45pm, when people are usually at work. This has caused me much stress and made me getting my procedure extremely difficult. I am now a month over when I expected the procedure, and now it sounds like It will be another month before it happens due to poor planning and customer service. Extremely disappointed in the health care system in Calgary.

Excellent doctor! Dr Venter is very knowledgable and caring about his patients. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a good family doctor!

As written in previous reviews, doctors are really good, but, unfortunately, won't be able to go there again. Clinic hours are not convenient at all. How do you close at 5:00 when most of the tenants of your community finish work at 5:00?
I need to take time off to do my routine check ups. This is a no no for me and for most of professionals that work from 8:00 till 5:00
Other clinics in the surrounding area open till 9:00 and they also open in weekends.
I know few other families that live in discovery ridge that have the same issue
I have to add that reception staff have no idea about customer service

Congruent to the other reviews, My doctor Dr. TJ is wonderful, as are the other doctors in the establishment. But I am extremely disappointed in the reception staff.
I was held up for 5 hours at home while I awaited a call from the reception to let me know if I can come in for a walk in that day. It was an urgent matter that needed to be dealt with that day, and they did not call me at all. I had to keep calling and calling for updates, until finally on my last call, I was told that the walk in doctor went home, and that I should try coming in next week.
You can imagine my frustration as they did not give me any sort of update or notice on what I should do, but rather completely forgot about me even though I called multiple times.

I did not receive any sort of apology for the miscommunication; instead, the lady at the front desk told me if it was really that important to me I should have just came in physically(I did not because their hours for walk in patients vary, and I have had times when I went and they sent me home because they weren't taking patients.
A very simple issue that was completely neglected due to complete negligence and lack of follow through. Reception lady was rude and did not listen to any of my concerns, at one point cutting me off in the middle of my sentence to say, "you know the longer we talk the longer it will take for me to ask the doctor if she can see you", rushing me off the phone very abruptly. At one point I called and they told me they weren't even in the office.
This is not the first time.

I am extremely disappointed and will be lodging a full complaint.

Doctors are great but the reception staff is the worst I have even encounter with. They always delay the booking, it seems they dont want to work, lazy staff, if Dr. send you to specialist, they took forever to send papers. You have to call them over and over. I tried to reach the owner to raise concern, but it seems the front desk staff does not want us to meet her. Marinda, if you read this, please call my cell. Thanks
