There are certain FODMAP businesses that rise to the top in the IBS world. The FODShopper is an online store with loads of delicious low FODMAP choices. They don't ship to Canada at this time, but there is still lots of great information on their website. This is definitely a company to keep your eye on!

They have been busy at Monash. Look what else they tested!

Here's another great article by Alana from A Little Bit Yummy on the recent Monash changes.

*Onion update addendum* I couldn't resist. I had to measure the new amber serving of white onion. Twelve grams = 1 heaping tbsp. Not everyone will tolerate this amount during the Low FODMAP Phase, but it is great to have more info about smaller serving sizes! Thanks Monash! ЁЯТЩЁЯТЪ

Onion update! Monash tested a small portion of white onion and found that it has an amber serving size. As a Monash Trained dietitian, this means that I can adapt the low FODMAP diet to be a little more flexible with onions for certain clients. Yay!! ЁЯН╜

Raspberries re-tested! The limit has been increased from 10 - 30 raspberries. Great news!

Have you every wondered why Greek yogurt is easier to digest? Joanna Baker from Everyday Nutrition, brought together some of the top FODMAP expert dietitians from around the world (Vanessa Cobarrubia from Belly Gone Bad, Diana Reid the The Global Dietitian, and myself included) to share their insight on lactose and Greek yogurts.
Thanks so much to Joanna this collaborative article. Enjoy! ЁЯТЬ

Here's just a quick shot of our kitchen counter as I get ready for the busy week ahead! With 3 boys in competitive sports, there are days when I have 40 minutes to get home, make dinner, eat and run. Having a bowl of low FODMAP veggies cleaned a pre-made salad means that the whole family eats SO many more veggies!

Look what I found on display while doing groceries at Save-on! This Bubly sparkling water makes a cool refreshing low FODMAP summer drink. Enjoy! ЁЯНИЁЯНКЁЯНУЁЯНН

This an awesome article about your microbiome by Andrea Hardy, Registered Dietitian with Ignite Nutrition Inc. I also see people who are overly restrictive and stay on the diet for way too long. It's also a great reminder of why the low FODMAP diet should only be done with support of a Dietitian.
