The International Business Students’ Association (IBSA) aims to engage undergraduate students in Haskayne and beyond to expand their limits and go global.

In today’s globalized economic environment, it is important to have a diversified mindset that can adapt to different cultures and experiences. The International Business Students’ Association (IBSA) aims to engage undergraduate students in Haskayne and beyond to expand their limits and go global with their degrees. Not only do we aid students in their journey of going abroad, we also seek to provide a very important service to the international commerce students coming into Calgary. The IBSA Buddy Program addresses the trauma of unfamiliarity with a new culture and environment by partnering international students with domestic buddies who are responsible for making them feel welcome to their new home(s) for the semester. On top of this, IBSA values the professional development that globalized experiences comes with. We hope to increase awareness of our opportunities by working with corporations that value leadership and diversity to host meaningful events that showcase the value of international experience.
