ICE Western has been a HVAC manufacturer for commercial and industrial market.

ICE has been a HVAC manufacturer with two facilities in Canada (Winnipeg and Calgary) and one in the USA (Tennessee). In 1961 ICE Winnipeg started manufacturing natural gas conversion burners for oil and coal fired furnaces and was the first to manufacture a direct fired makeup air unit in Canada. A new USA facility in Tennessee in 1993, quickly became a leader in direct and indirect gas fired makeup air units, electric coils and heat recovery. ICE Western Sales Ltd Calgary evolved in 1991 to produce highly customized HVAC units designed to meet the specific needs of the customer.

With years of proven direct fired heater and indirect fired experience behind us, we offer a comprehensive product line of direct fired and indirect fired equipment with integral packaged DX cooling. ICE cooling provides some of the highest efficiencies (EER) in the industry by utilizing digital scroll compressors, digital superheat controller, electronic expansion valves, and variable speed condenser fans (floating head design).

A) HTDM 91 plus is the most efficient indirect fired heat exchanger in the market today. Upto 60: 1 turndown and available in heat only & high efficiency heat with package dx cooling. HTDM model which has the highest turn down burner in the industry.

B) Explosion proof and hazardous location HVAC units are customized and constructed to meet the harshest environments. All units are provided with direct drive plenum fans and explosion proof motors.

C) Custom Air Handling and Heat Recovery Units are customized to satisfy all requirements from the consultant and end user to on site conditions. Units can be provided end discharge, down discharge, top discharge, stacked, and vertical up-flow or down-flow arrangements. Units are also available for indoor installation with ducted condenser coils with centrifugal blowers.

D) Scrubbers Units are designed for 100% removal of contaminates to provide “G1” air to the critical area. Specific medias are selected for the removal of contaminates. ICE uses KINA 4 activated and dual impregnated carbon has been proven to be the most effective and longest lasting media for removal of H2S. In addition to corrosion control, other consideration for using a scrubber or adsorber would be odor control, environmental emissions, and personal protection.

E) Desiccant Dehumidifiers are widely used in the humidity control of ice rinks, curling rinks, refrigerated warehouse, and supermarkets.
