Together we can create a world where every youth has the tools they need to live a flourishing life. The Impact Society is a Canadian non-profit and national leader in youth character development & mental wellbeing. Since 1994, we've served over 200, 000 young people and educators through our strength-based Heroes programs. The Heroes Programs Include: - Heroes (designed for grades 7-9)- Heroes 2 (designed for grades 10-12)- Heroes are Warriors (our signature Heroes program with Indigenous Contextualization)- Heroes at Home (designed for the parents of Heroes)The Heroes programs move youth from at-risk to at-potential by building their strengths, resilience, and decision-making skills. This provides a greater sense of identity for the students, with the ability to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. Research shows that building positive capacity in youth requires four dimensions of strength-based learning: 1. Feeling2. Thought3. Behaviour4. ConvictionHeroes implements these dimensions by making students feel valued and safe, inspiring them to foster their own motivational thoughts and to think optimistically about their future.
