Mstyle's Story:

I have been self-employed, and doing business out of Thailand for nearly 12 years. I'm continually astonished by the good nature of the Thai people, their resilience during challenging times, their honesty, and their incredibly positive outlooks on life. Over the years, I've been involved in some amazing projects that have galvanized my philosophy on business, and on life in general.

The seeds of IMstyle were planted on my trip to Thailand in Nov / Dec of 2013. I met two amazing female entrepreneur who handmade Fashion Accessories. I knew I had to bring these great items back to Canada, and was aware that I met these ladies for a reason. The concept began to take shape in my mind, and I realized that establishing another business was in my imminent future. And so it began. . . .

IMstyle is not just another business that imports products from Asia, and sells them at a reduced price. It's important for you to understand that this business was built from the heart. I spent an entire month beating the streets of Thailand to find the perfect people to work with. There were many days that I walked for over 10 hours looking for the right "feel". It wasn't the person selling goods at the best price that won me over. It was the combination of a fabulous product, fair price, and positive interaction that sealed the deal. Some of my purchases were made in markets, some from local wholesale malls, and some from small companies. In each case, I spent hours upon hours upon hours laughing with these individuals, getting to know their stories, and learning about their families. The relationships were established, and that made the business transactions FUN. That is exactly what IMstyle is all about.

When you buy from IMstyle, you will be sharing our journey. Our goal is to offer you handmade, or carefully selected Fashion Accessories for under $40. Please understand that these great prices are not in place because the goods are "cheap", mass-produced, or of inferior quality. The prices are low because we are selling directly from the producer to the buyer - there's no distributor or retailer involved here, and that cuts out the regular mark ups.
