Summer Run Series Week 7...Fort Edmonton...the longest run of the series at about 8km, but a little less technical than the last few weeks. Start from the same spot as Run # 1 at Whitemud Park (just off Fox Drive). Only 2 chances left to bring a friend. Drop ins welcome as always ($10). See you all Wed.

Week 6...Belgravia...New Route for the Summer Run Series. Start and end at the Red Dot on the map. Parking on the street at roughly Sask Drive and 71 ave. Route will take us to Hawerlack Park and back with a mix of gravel and single track and some awesome river valley views. Bring a water bottle and a friend. Only three weeks to go to introduce someone new to trail running.

Summer Run Series Week 5...Patricia Heights. Bring on the White Tiger. Get ready for the most technical of the runs in the series. This course will include, grass, tree roots, running on the shore of the North Sask River, rocks crossings and 200+ stairs all packed into about a 7km trail. Bring your perseverance! Start will be at the Patricia Heights Elementary School (16216 78 ave). Drop in welcome ($10). See you there.

Map for week 4 in Big Bear Park. This week will be a 2 loop course with each lap being about 3.5km. As usual bring your water bottle. We will be just a bit southeast of the Southside YMCA...approx address is ...between 111st and 109st and on Bearspaw Dr Northwest. Park on the residential streets. See you there.

Week 4 promised a creek crossing (under the Henday) . Here is a preview...may want to bring a second set of shoes just in case.

Results from Summer Run Series Week 3. Next week is Big Bear Park in South Edmonton. This will be a two lap course so if you have some friends who are looking for a shorter run, bring them out to try 1 lap. See you all next week.

The 2018 In Pursuit Adventure Triathlon is now in the books. What a day! Week 2 of the IPM Summer Run Series is tomorrow evening within the trails of Westbrook & Mactaggart Sanctuary. The route will be right around the 6km mark. We start from the green space under the power lines just south of the Derrick Golf Club. Parking on the streets in the nearby neighborhood. You can still register for the whole series or drop in when you can ($10) over the next eight weeks. Don't forget your water bottle. See you there.
