About Industrial Employee Safety
Industrial Employee Safety provides clients with loss prevention services including: training, program development, and standby safety services.
Industrial Employee Safety Description
This page will showcase our services and development path for our in-house programs. It will also house links to useful sites for employers and employees alike.
Industrial Employee Safety's mission with this page is to improve everyone's knowledge base about safety at work. We want everyone to ask more questions when they are unclear about a situation at their place of work.
After all, we all have good reasons to come home from work.

We should all use local firewood to burn in our fire pits and fire places. Transporting firewood from one area to another also moves insects which can harm the new area. Please leave unburned wood in the area you sourced it and don’t bring it home. http://ow.ly/NyMB30lJdEH
Clutter around your home could lead to a safety hazard. Do you have items for disposal that don’t fit in your black bin? You may be able to drop it off at a Community Clean Up site. Information on this program, including a schedule can be found here: http://ow.ly/bADe30lJebO
Did you know we sell safety equipment? See our equipment list at http://ow.ly/KnKd30lJcPG and write to us at info@industrialemployeesafety.com

We’re receiving a lot of smoke from the BC wildfires. There are some furnace filters with MERV ratings higher than 14, which remove smoke from the air. The main purpose of your furnace filter is to protect the blower motor from dust, but running your furnace fan during smoky periods through a high MERV filter can help to reduce the amount of smoke in your indoor air.

Fruit and vegetables are being harvested in Alberta. We’re still enjoying the warmth of summer, and it would be a good time to review the OHS information for farm workers and employers, https://ohs-pubstore.labour.alberta.ca/li 048 which was made available in June.
Clean your boat and pull the drain plug when it’s out of the water, as outlined under subsection 6.1 of the provincial Fisheries Ministerial Regulation. This helps to prevent parasites and diseases from moving from lake to lake. https://mywildalberta.ca/…/2018-Alberta GuideSportfishingReg…
Hiking is an enjoyable way to spend time in the Rockies. Remember to research your route and check the weather forecast. An excellent backcountry GPS hiking trail set of maps is available here from one of the local active Geocachers: http://albertatrailmaps.ca/
