I remember growing up with a strong dislike for walnuts - they left a bitter, off taste in my mouth.
One of the benefits of properly soaking them is to eliminate the bitter aftertaste. Most of us go on and on about the nutritional benefits of soaking nuts and seeds (and these are all super important) but so is TASTE.
I guarantee you soaking and then dehydrating or roasting your nuts is a habit you will want to continue because they taste WAY better.
