Involtini Ristorante

I recently ordered take out from this restaurant and was sorely disappointed. The food arrived in a timely manner and hot but the food tasted awful. I ordered the Mushrooms Marsala, Bruschetta, Calamari Scallopini, and a designer pasta with angel hair pasta, alfredo sauce, and chicken. The mushrooms were uneatable because the sauce was disgustingly sweet. The fresh taste of tomato in the bruschetta was over powered by the amount of balsamic vinegar. The Calamari was tasteless and had a very strange consistency. The pasta tasted like butter and nothing else. The chicken had been seasoned with dill and it was tasteless besides the dill.

Overall very, VERY disappointed. This place would be a candidate for Kitchen Nightmares. I will not be ordering again. Save your money and make Italian at home.

Food was excellent and the service was top notch.

One small thing to note, the food is prepared from scratch so it can take longer to cook than other places. But it is definitely worth the wait.

First of all, the place does not look very inviting from the outside - sort of nondescript signage in a a little strip mall in South West Calgary. Once inside it's actually charming. The staff were great and the service was excellent. They readily accommodated some changes to a menu item that were requested. There were 6 people in our party and all of them were raving about their dinner. Waiters and waitresses were very attentive without being obtrusive. Would absolutely return there.

Great food. Longish wait times for pick ups during weekend. Perhaps hiring more than one guy in the kitchen. The guy complains about making particular dishes because they take too long. Evan is the best!

Excellent food, great service and nice atmosphere. Good place for family dinners. Staff are very friendly and do a fantastic job.

This is a quaint little place. Nice atmosphere. Great food! We had probably the hardest working server I've ever had. I'd say this is a must try place. Not only was the service top notch so was the food. My husband and I eat out often and this place although it sounds cheesy was like tasting food for the first time! Incredible! You will love it!
