If you have had a screen replaced on your iPhone do not upgrade to iOS 11.3! They have embedded software in it to make screens nonresponsive.

Replacing older, weaker batteries will actually improve your older phones speed.

Do you know what to do when your iPhone falls in water? Here are a few steps to increase the chances of your phone surviving. First. Get your phone out of the water ASAP! Dry it off with paper towel. Second. Turn your phone off! You normally don't want to use your phone when it has gotten wet. But chances are higher for it to have an electrical failure if it is on and receiving notifications or phone calls. Third. Remove your SIM card. Every iPhone sold comes with that litt...le pin along with the owner's manual. Use that pin, or one like it, and push in that little hole where your sim goes. Forth. Place your phone in a Ziploc bag with dry rice. Make sure the phone is totally covered in rice. Try and place it so the phone is standing up or laying on the edge with the volume buttons. The logicboard is on the power button side of the phone so any help getting the water away from it the better. Fifth. Bring it to me ASAP! I will open it up, remove any moisture that has pooled on its components. Then I will put it in a bag with silica desiccant which will further remove any moisture in the phone better than rice can. Hopefully the stars all align and your phone is saved! Don't forget to back up your phone! Back it up monthly if not every couple weeks especially if you take a lot of pictures.
