Ironwood Stage & Grill

Went to the Skydiggers. Paid a cover. Were seated in a location that was so cold our group could see our breath. Awful service. Spent a lot on food and drinks. For our poor service and the poor seats we received one round of shots and one pitcher of beer for 10 people. Would not recommend Ironwood.

Do NOT get the calamari here it’s awful. Thick wiggly pieces of squid covered in batter that is bland and isn’t even crispy. The tzatziki is also nothing to write home about, slight tang, but overall bland. I never add salt to things but had to add salt all over to make it taste better.

Great venue. Early Show times mean you get out at a reasonable hour. Table service, and I love how they include your cover charge on the bill which you pay at the end of the evening.

Very cool place. Decor is a bit rustic, but in a good way. Food was great, staff was friendly. Went on Wednesday for open Mic night, and the atmosphere was full of fun and energy.

I'll be going back for sure.

This is one of Calgary's premiere intimate music venues. Had the pleasure of seeing a number of artists here including Martha Wainwright. The Ironwood Stage & Grill gives you an opportunity to feel like you're part of the music versus just an observer sitting in an auditorium or theatre. Staff are great and they know how to pour an exceptional Guiness

A family atmosphere with great music and friendly staff.

Great music, though not as many gluten free options as the website boasts when it comes to meal selection.

Music is always great. Food is OK, but nothing special. Service is good.

Great live music venue. Be careful when paying the tab, they add your cover to the bill. this inflates the tip significantly. Be prepared to do some quick math in your head and you won't feel like you were cheated :-)
