"For one day only, you can bring your best four-legged friend to the Garden! We've reserved a special day just for dogs (on leashes) and their people to enjoy the autumn garden, on our second-last day of the 2018 season. Doggy games, walks and treats will be part of the fun."

We've been taking our boxer Beau here for a year or so now and the experience has been nothing short of awesome! Beau is a bit of a weirdo where he doesn't always care for the company of other dogs, and the staff here always make us breathe a bit easier when we have to leave him. They are super accommodating to his behaviour and weirdness, and we always feel comfortable leaving him here and know he'll be taken care of. Thank you to everyone at IADL for welcoming us there after a not so pleasant experience elsewhere!

We just started taking our Patsy to It’s A Dog’s Life on the recommendation of our neighbour. Patsy loves it there. Her behaviours have improved and the staff there genuinely seem to adore her and treat her very well. So far I am super impressed.

We have been leaving our young intact dog in the care of its a It's a Dogs Life off and on since June and I'm so happy with the results! It's been a fight to find a daycare that will happily allow us to bring an intact male (requirement as per breeder) to their facility! The staff have also been super understanding of last minute boarding bookings or slightly late pick up times because of work/school schedules. I highly recommend this daycare

This facility is one of a kind. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, caring and friendly. They always greet me by my first name and absolutely know my Sadie’s name each time no matter what staff. They take it to the extra step to ensure that you are not only happy but ALSO feel trusted when your dog is with them. I do not trust many with my dog and I trust this facility and the owners with my dog 100%. This daycare has brought wonderful new aspects into my life of a single dog owner. Sadie is able to spend the night while I can be free on my own and I don’t worry about her. She also can burn off her energy for a day when I have to clean my place. It’s a Dog’s life is the only daycare my sadie will be continuing to go to. Thank you for going the extra step, everyone!!!!! Trust me it’s noticed!!!! 5 stars!!!!

On Christmas day my dog was staying at IADL and began showing signs of a life threatening medical condition. I was out of town so they rushed him to emergency(all 184 pounds of him) and Mav received the surgery he required. The staff have always been super friendly and helpful and because of Austins quick thinking, my boy is alive and recovering. I will never forget what they have done for me.

My dog Spirit loves going here. She is loved, played with, washed well, nails clipped and gets lots of cuddles from the staff. The staff is always fixable, helpful with tips on health issues, and training. There is never a dull moment in the business because they like to be laugh and joke with people. I recommend this company to any dog owner

My dog Gizmo absolutely loves coming here and I know the staff love her too, based on all the pictures I get to see of her. I know she is well taken care of, getting all the play time and cuddles she wants all day! We have never had any issues what so ever with the facility or the care she gets and will happily continue to bring Gizmo to Its a dogs life!!!

My dog Charlee loves hanging out here. The staff are great and always have great photos, clips from the day. The best part is Charlee is so tired at the end of the day. The trip in from Sherwood Park is worth it and I would try them out if you are looking for a place that will love your dog. The Best

My Brittany Spaniel has been going to daycare and been boarded here for more than a year now. Penny has so much fun there and the staff are truly wonderful! I never worry about leaving her there (whether for boarding or for daycare), she's either snuggling with the staff or playing with her doggie friends. Any questions or concerns I've ever had have always been very promptly and professionally addressed. I also love the Facebook photos, proof that she gets plenty of snuggle and play time. I have recommended It's A Dog's Life to everyone I know and will continue to do so.

I’ve been bringing my dog almost everyday for the past 3 months, and I gotta say I love it!!! Lola comes home exhausted from playing, I love when they do picture updates, seems like so much fun!! Im happy I found this place ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Keep up the Excellent work ❤️

I've only been taking my dog, Nix, to It's A Dog's Life for daycare for a few weeks, and so far our expensive l experience has been fantastic! They were very accommodating about booking the initial assessment, which was so helpful. I really appreciate that they're open until 8 pm during the week, as my schedule requires flexibility.



The staff are really friendly, and have taken time to get to know Nix. Nix is having a great time - he especially loves playing in the pool. He's alwats tired and happy when I pick him up at the day!

I use the daycare service a few times a month. My dog loves coming here and you can tell the staff really care. Thanks for taking such great care of my girl!

I feel like they are part of our family and it is a worry-free place to leave our dogs when we are unable to care for them. They are very receptive to special needs and requirements and go above and beyond. Well done!!

Everytime I take Cailey to daycare she has a blast. All I have to do is say the word "daycare". I am extremely happy with the staff and owner. They all go above and beyond everytime !

Dio loves his time at daycare, and the staff is awesome and accommodating. Will always choose IADL for our daycare and kenneling needs.

All I know is every morning Winston insists on going to It’s a Dogs Life. If I don’to take him he looks crushed. When I pick him up, he is still super happy. That’s all I need to know. The staff are great with him.

My dog loves staying here and I know he is well taken care of whenever I board him here. Minus one star because the price per night has pretty much doubled in the past 10 years or so.
