The atmosphere is really nice and the patio is a good size. The service is spot on and very timely however it wasn't during peak times.



The selection of crab cakes and curry chicken boxtie was spot on.



This is now my new favourite place.

Service was friendly, fast and perfectly timed. The food was well portioned, very tasty and lovely to look at as well. Decor is warm and comfy. By far one of our favourite spots in the city.

The owner Ann Curran welcomed us in like most owners do back home, hooked us up with a fantastic breakfast & dinner as well as giving us chairs to use to watch the parade! Highly recommended!

Very friendly and approachable and advised us on food, drinks and where to go, she also told us a little history of the area which was nice. As we are from the UK this is what we needed. As a southerner, we pride ourselves on hospitality. I must say the James Joyce Irish Pub is a welcoming place for his traveler. We visited on Sunday for lunch and our server allowed us to order from the full menu despite it being breakfast hours. We returned several days later and had the same server. She remembered our entire order from the first visit and was just as friendly this time. The food was great, and they have a fantastic beer selection. This will definitely be a spot I visit on any and all future visits!

A party of twelve of us walked in during a recent family vacation. The staff was courteous and friendly. The choice of beers was very nice. All of the food was delicious! From the beef and Guinness pie to the chicken curry to the burgers, everything was wonderful. The bacon bites appetizer is amazing. Can't wait for our next trip to Calgary.

The patio was great but the service was so poor...it took so long for us just to get a drink...then a menu...then a straw for our drink...was not fun at all...my friend wasn't happy with the service and neither was a woman in front of us. The manager or owner was dealing with a woman in front of us and she just looked at me when I agreed with that other lady and said...I'll deal with u next....i was like no don't bother. We won't be back!

A party of twelve of us walked in during a recent family vacation. The staff was courteous and friendly. The choice of beers was very nice. All of the food was delicious! From the beef and Guinness pie to the chicken curry to the burgers, everything was wonderful. The bacon bites appetizer is amazing. Can't wait for our next trip to Calgary.

Great choice of food, great service, beautiful ambience.

The patio was great but the service was so poor...it took so long for us just to get a drink...then a menu...then a straw for our drink...was not fun at all...my friend wasn't happy with the service and neither was a woman in front of us. The manager or owner was dealing with a woman in front of us and she just looked at me when I agreed with that other lady and said...I'll deal with u next....i was like no don't bother. We won't be back!
