Janine’S Custom Creations Description
Located in the beautiful city of Calgary, Alberta at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Janine Stabner is a local Calgarian, born and raised. She has over 40 years of sewing and design experience and graduated design schools with top honours. She has worked along side a number of designers. Parisian designer Mithe De' Fontenay creating beautiful custom made wedding gowns among other fashions. Nancy Lindquist of the Villa Factory label constructing very unique jacket designs. Maureen Gendron an amazing local leather designer creating and constructing beautiful leather designs for the Calgary Stampede Royal Trio among other wonderful clients. Krisdeann Nelson an amazing artist and designer of many mediums working trade shows together. Janine looks up to these women for providing her with knowledge and experiences that have helped her in so many ways.
Fashion show coordinating, commentary, modelling are among some of her other experiences. She is also an official sponsor for the Calgary Stampede Royalty (Queen, and Princesses). She has been sewing and designing for them since 2008 and started Officially Sponsoring in 2011 She enjoys working with and designing for this wonderful group! She also is an official sponsor for The Calgary Stampede Indian Princess Committee. . she started sewing and designing for them in 2011 and started sponsoring in 2012 for the Calgary Stampede Centennial Indian Princess and continues to sponsor to this day. . . a wonderful group of people. She has enjoyed learning about the Indigenous culture and of their Native clothing and the meaning behind their designs.
She just recently started sponsoring the Cochrane Lions Rodeo Royalty Queen as well.
Her favorite place is and continues to be in the work room. Drawing, design, creating, sewing and helping others bring their visions of design to life.

I was absolutely thrilled with Tony’s reaction to his his custom smoking jacket this morning!!💕 he brought me beautiful bouquet of flowers too! 😊 Thank you so much Tony!! 🤗😊 his jacket is made from a gold threaded brocade satin lining with a burgundy/brown velveteen outer shell. Tailored shoulders and chest. Closures are made with contrasting loops and brass tipped antler toggles. Looking sharp Tony!! 😊
