About Jasper Museum

Jasper-Yellowhead Historical Society founded in 1964. We are a small but comprehensive museum dedicated to promoting Jasper's history with our exhibits, displays, programs and special events.

Jasper Museum Description

The museum is made up of three galleries:
The Fred Kofin Gallery includes exhibits on the fur trade, the railways, early tourism, the park and its warden service, as well as the history of the town of Jasper itself.

The exhibits in our Showcase & Alcove Galleries change several times a year. These galleries feature exhibits which are culturally and historically significant to the area.
