Our guide Ashleigh was trying to get Bonnie and Dan’s attention this morning in the yard.

Freckles (on the right) was up to no good trying to come in the barn this afternoon, as Peanuts stood beside him and watched.

It’s always great to learn a skill from such a great boss! Dale is always eager to share his knowledge with staff.

We had some visitors on our 1 hour riverview loop trail a couple days ago.

Meet Chloe and her horse Disco! Chloe is from England and has rode English since a young child. Her quick transition into the western world has happened very easy for her. She thoroughly enjoys taking groups out on the trails and sharing her knowledge of horses and the area

Pal and Navajo are taking advantage of having a nice relaxing day.

Returning for her second season here at Jasper Park Lodge, is Kaylea. Her trusty stead “Twister” leads the trails. With Kaylea’s huge amount of knowledge of the local area and history, you’re sure to have a fantastic ride!

We welcome Summer back for her second season as Guide and Manager. She is from the South Island of NZ. With her sense of humor and knowledge of the trails, she and her horse Pal, will ensure you have a great ride!

Up next we have Jessie and her horse, Navajo. Jessie is here from London, Ontario to enjoy her break from school. In the past 5 years she’s tried everything from eventing to reining and now trail riding. As an avid foodie, ask her about where to get a bite to eat in Jasper!

Meet our guide Emma and her horse, Pepsi. Emma is from a small town in Manitoba and is loving the change of scenery! Forever riding, she competes in barrel racing, goat tying as well as training her own colts and trail riding. If you get the chance ask her about competing in rodeos!

As we reach the busier part of the summer season, it's time to start introducing our guides!
First up we have Ashleigh and her horse Cody. She is from Christchurch, New Zealand where she started riding at the young age of 5. She has spent the last two years living in Alice Springs, Australia. If you have her as your guide on a ride, ask her about her travels around the US before she started working here for the summer.
