Jasper Skytram Description
An experience like no other in Canada! Stand at the peak of a 2470m high mountain with 360° views of three famous mountain ranges—including Mt Robson, the highest in the Canadian Rockies. Jasper Tramway whisks people to the Upper Terminal (2263m) on Whistler Mountain in Jasper National Park—largest & most northerly of Canada’s Rocky Mountain national parks & a UNESCO-designated World Park Heritage Site—providing easy access to two boardwalks & hiking trails to the summit. Frequently seen wildlife: Grizzly & black bears, marmot, pica, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, elk & other alpine wildlife.

was awesome. Got the free breakfast because we bought in advance and went up before 9 am. The breakfast was really good. The only bad thing was that we went before the rain cleared up the smoke.
Wonderful experience. Lovely to sit and have a drink at the top looking down on Jasper and area. Saw 3 moose just grazing
Where does one start.
The entire staff was amazing, friendly, informative and went beyond what some would expect. If they didn't know they were honest to say so not BS you.
The tram was fast and clean except fingerprints from previous passengers on the windows.
The trails at the top we well maintained.
Sad to say people still do not use the blazed trails.
Oh, the cafe wasn't bad either. Quite busy but fast with more amazing views of the valley and mountain ranges.
We had an amazing experience! I’ve been here many times as a child & in my 20’s, but this was the first time bringing my husband & kids. Also the first time in the spring, so we got to experience the snow at the top of the mountain. The view from the top is literally breathtaking - It feels like you’re on the top of the world! Great views of Jasper township & surrounding areas, the most wonderful friendly staff, and excellent hot chocolate at the restaurant at the top. Make sure to dress appropriately, because it can be up to 20 degrees colder at the top & it’s windy, and wear good shoes for walking if you’re planning to hike to the peak. We all had a great time, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again on our next trip through Jasper. Thanks, guys!!!
We couldn't fault the skytram . We arrived at approx 9am and booked straight onto the next flight ( no 9) at 9.29am
Had time to grab a coffee and then up we went. The ride up was 7 1/2 minutes and the guide was really informative.
There were plenty of staff around at the top if you had questions.
We decided to walk to the summit and wow it was worth it. 360 degree views.
Thoroughly recommend it.
Was really nice. The guide on the way up/down was really informative. Knew a lot about the lands history. It was really fun and very nice to see Jasper from so high up. The hike the rest of the way up the mountain was nice too. Longer and more difficult than it looks, but fun regardless. I highly recommend!
Took the tram on june 24 at 8:30 in the morning and had an amazing experience! We were lucky to have the best weather conditions with a blue and clear sky which allowed us to even see to Mount Robson! We made the
Summit Trail to the Whistler Mountain summit and the view was breathtaking! There were even some marmots saying hello :-) I highly recommend taking the skytram to everybody while visiting Jasper! It offers spectacular views (at least on good-weather-days) and an enjoyable hike!
Its always our families number one go to everytime were in Jasper..it's always a joy!
It was my first time on the Skytram and I would highly recommend it. We went on Canada Day weekend so it was very busy. We were there by 11am so we only had to wait 40 minutes to go up the mountain but by the time we left it was up to a two-hour wait. So if you're going during busy season and you don't want to wait I recommend going early or booking online, there is separate lineup and it was a lot smaller. Bring bug spray and good shoes if you plan on going up the summit. It is pretty steep but lots of places to sit on rocks and have a break. The view was spectacular the only other way you could get that amazing view would be by helicopter. I am very scared of heights but the ride up was so beautiful you couldn't help but look out the window so I wouldn't let that deter you. There is a restaurant as well to wet your lips after hiking up the summit. We got the best view right by the front window, you can have a break and watch the Skytram go up and down. We did a lot of things this weekend in Jasper but this was by far the highlight of the trip and worth every dollar we spent.
It was great!! Sure it may be a bit pricey, but kids under six are free. My daughter of 13 was half price and adults are $45. I've gone twice in less than a week. I had a great time. Climbed to the summit both times. Staff are very friendly and informative. Thank you very much for a great experience and memories I'll always cherish. 👍👍👍

It was a fantastic view from on top the mountain. I would suggest that they not cram a lot of people into the sky tram on the way up because it was hard to take pictures. I felt like a fish and a sardine can. Other than that it was a good trip and a good flight down. Even though I did not partake in the food offered at the flight deck, I thought the prices were Sky high,$6.50 for a hotdog, 850 for hamburger, and $9.25 for a gourmet sandwich. I am glad I brought my own snacks to eat.
It is amazing place we enjoy more with 360 degree view and in June it was snowfall and we just enjoy this place on Icefield
Great experience, my wife Lynn and I loved it! We waited until after 6pm to go up and had only 2 other passengers for company both ways! The 360 degree views were amazing �
First day of the season that the skytram was open lucky for us passing through. Had an amazing trip both up and down and enjoyed exploring. The staff were very helpful and also very welcoming! Brownie from the cafe was delicious too! Highly recommend :)

Celebrating our 50 th birthdays during a Jasper weekend. Also did the Glacier Skywalk. The country is simply stunning! A cherished experience all around. Thank you
I would have given a five because it was fantastic, and the views spectacular however when people write they pack you in they’re not exaggerating! You are on top of the strangers next to you. They could do less people on each tram and not be so greedy. Bring a jacket, it’s cold up there!! Not sandal wearing weather at all, I’m so glad I switched into tennis shoes before going up. Short wait and worth every penny!!
Don’t eat the Nova Scotia donair very dry, over all good experience!
