Announcement🐎 Jessy's Horsemanship is no longer taking on clients for 2018. I have planned to temporarily suspend my services from Oct 2018 through to May 2019 as im taking a much needed break. I had hopes in helping a few new horses but with the poor air quality it has and will further put my current clients finishing dates back. Thank you for your support in 2018 and looking forward to hearing from you!

This horse .... This horse has been with me through so many things, so many places and so many worlds. I can no longer ride him His mind refuses to be tamed ... i can except that. He loves children, he loves to be with them and he loves to give pony rides.... He has many purposes ... even if we never run in the open fields together ever again

This passed week Coco had her first ride in a halter and Ember took her first steps under saddle Both of these 3 year olds are amazing in their own way!

Fran ( client /friend ) on left, her horses Grace (on left) and pheonix (on right) conquired their first maiden voyage today!!!! All 4 of us had a blast !!! River, creeks, hills, brush, logs, cows, birds, fisherman #goals #horse #horsewomen #yayus Fran Wilson

Would you like your horse exposed to as much as possible while being ridden by someone with experience and light hands ?
Taking on 4 years and older, green broke ... 5 or more rides. ... Only taking on 4 horses per month Refreshers too ! Each horse will get ridden once a day Monday - Friday. Exposed to ALL elements of the outdoors.
HORSES MUST - Have proof their teeth have been done in the past year and no wolf teeth Freshly trimmed and free of lameness
Cost per month to "finish" your horse is $750 per month

You are amazing! Sven has come so far in his short time with you. Love that he has become confident enough for you to stand in the saddle!! And ride out in open pasture!!! I was happy I could saddle & mount from both sides, ask for lateral flexion, and bend to a stop in a 50' round pen after a year with him. Fabulous progress for a Horse who wouldn't allow himself to be touched past the shoulder when I rescued him in June 2014; he would leave VERY far and VERY fast if uncertain about anything (which was everything at the beginning, poor guy). I was able to get him back believing in humans but he needed *YOU* to take him the final miles to becoming a truly confident boy. Amazing, amazing, amazing job! Hats off! :)

We are so lucky to have found a trainer/teacher that’s a perfect fit for my horse and my daughter! I can’t say enough good things about this gifted lady who has definitely found her calling!

This girl is freaking amazing at what she does! She is amazing when it comes to horses and dealing with them and helping them! Not only have i learnt so much from her she has helped me over come some of my issues and built my confidence but shes helped me work thro issues with my own horse when i didn't know what to do!! By far worth it if you are looking for any help! You wont be disappointed!!

Jessy has been coming to our horse rescue for just about 2 weeks now, and I am more than pleased with the work she's done with a couple of our young horses. Her methods are soft and gentle, she's very respectful towards both us and the horses. She's always encouraging to the horses with a soft voice and gentle hands. She never rushes a horse and doesn't move onto the next step until the horse is comfortable with what she's doing. After a session, if a horse has worked hard and is sweaty, she covers them with a cooler and walks them until they're dry. The horses welfare is number one in her eyes no matter how long it takes. I'm extremely picky who works with our rescue horses, but I wouldn't hesitate to have Jessy work with any of them. She has a deep love for horses and a gift to be able to work with them. I highly recommend Jessy to anyone looking for a good trainer.

Jessy has an amazing wealth of knowledge about horses. Her passion for the loving care and ablilities to handle horses is very evident.

Jessy has a special understanding of what the rider and horse need. Teaching with sensitivity and a smile she pushes you past your comfort zone gently but firmly . I feel so lucky to have found her - I couldn’t imagine that I would be riding again . Thank you Jessy

I have known Jessy for 4 years now. Jessy is a one in a million type person. From her loyalty as a friend down to how she communicates with horses. The sole reason we became friends was simply due to her incredibly gentle method of training a young horse. I emailed Jessy, after watching a video of her working with her mare that was for sale, 4 years ago, advertised on kijiji. I was so blown away by how soft her hands were and how attentive her mare was with her, in the video, that I had to say something! Since meeting Jessy, 4 years ago, I've watched her skill, passion, and determination with horses sky rocket! The sheer fact that she can get on her 3 year old without the use of tack is nothing short of a miracle! Jessy is patient, gentle, always works at a pace that the horse is comfortable with, and never over works them. Her training aside, when Jessy rides, it is something straight out of a movie. I've watched her gallop full tilt across an open field without the use of tack, she has done a little bit of everything that has to do with horseback riding and seems to excel at every sport! Her position on the horse is always balanced, her hands are always soft, she hardly needs to use the reins since she is so connected to the horse, it is as if they move as one being. I could go on and on about Jessy and her phenomenal gift with horses. I highly recommend Jessy for your next horse trainer!
