Joey Chinook

Greatest place I’ve eaten in years. Although we got to the restaurant on a Saturday evening, we waited for 20 min in the mall, waiting for our phone to ring. Service was awesome and efficient, food was fast and fresh.

Service was good! Payed $27 or something like that for this ravioli lobster shrimp dish and it was absolutely tiny. I was so hungry after and there was three pieces of shrimp, more like an apitizer which sucked.

This is one one of the most well managed restaurants in Calgary. The people here are amazing, extremely friendly and welcoming. From head chef, who was kind enough to give me a kitchen tour, to every bartender in had, everyone is just genuine and always try to make the Joeys expeience a great one. I love this location and the amazing people that work here.

As a business owner myself and in alignment with my promise to write a review for every small business, here's mine for Joey Chinook. If there's one thing that really stands out with the restaurant and this particular Joey location, it is certainly the service. The service here is on a whole different level than the vast majority of other places I have been. The management is doing it right by hiring the best talent. You have to experience this location just for the service.

The first initial level of hospitality started when Joey was undergoing renovation and I stopped by for the first time and they gave me a $10 gift card to come back when they were open. That's good business. After the renos I discovered the rooftop patio, which is absolutely gorgeous. Kayla and Alyssa both provided a fantastic level of service that was stellar for my first experience at this location, it was as if they owned the business themselves!

Since I walked in a few weeks ago, this has become my new spot for afternoon patio beers. And every time, it doesn't matter which server I've had; they've all been social, helpful, engaging and friendly. Every time I leave, the hostess always asks for feedback on the experience which is a sweet thing! I do find the food pretty standard. It's safe, lacking some inspiration and quite overpriced. Then again I'm quite the foodie. But the service and the beer, especially the last best on tap, keep me coming back!

Hands down best Joey in the city! So happy it's back after renos! We had to go to Barlow while Chinook was closed and hated the experience there. Yaaaaaay! Joey Chinook, best service! Excellent food! We missed you!

Seared tuna club is amazing. Decent atmosphere. Haven't checked it out since the reno.

Joeys Chinook has an amazing group of staff. It is a fun place to eat and drink and just hang out with friends. The food is awesome, the drinks are great and the staff is fun. Today in particular, myself and friend Stephanie were served by a lovely lady named Janice! She was a genuine human being!

Went there for a birthday dinner last night. My wife has a black pepper allergy so there was very little if anything beyond a Rainbow Roll that she could eat. We've eaten a fair bit of sushi in our time, and she said the Joey Rainbow roll was the "least flavorful she's ever eaten in her life", but she was hungry and scarfed it down without complaining until after. Sarah, our waitress - was phenomenal - she did say that she would have taken it off the bill if my wife had said something, but I said not to bother, and I still tipped her extra (our bill was $107).
Too bad the "kitchen" wasn't more accommodating because I like the food here, but she can't eat it! Another thing worth noting is the need to turn our phone flashlights on to see the microscopic print on the drinks menu
