Joey'S Place Custom Paint & Restoration

As winter winds down we are winding up some jobs, in the middle of others and steadily working as we know demand increases as summer rolls around.

We are displaying two 1963 Corvettes, Joey's Place Race Car, and The Road Hammer-Cal Tebb's 1969 GTO The Judge Funny Car painted by Joey's Place.

As the picture says, Joey has been in business 40 years, and no he really isn't an old guy! From a young boy he knew his passion was cars and racing so before he was out of his teens he started working on them. Before he knew it he was in business and now 40 years later he still manges the day to day operations of Joey's Place. Almost 20 years ago he started the Joey's Place Racing team which is almost as close to his heart as his shop. Congratulations Joey.

2018 the New Year starts. We have a lot of work going on in the shop yet with a crew of twelve we continue to look forward to new projects. Whether your project is big or small call or drop by the shop and we will gladly discuss how we may help.

This project was a complete exterior restoration. This very beautiful car is highly collectable.

NAIT's Auto Body Trade First Year Students Tour the Shop. Twice a year Joey takes a new student group through the shop to help inspire and grow interest in the industry. He will impart some thoughts from his many years of working and owing his shop. This includes discussion with the apprentices ranging from collision work to restoration. Joey currently sits on the NAIT's Apprenticeship Advisory Board
