Bob W. Johansson is a Canadian professional engineer. He was born in Voxjo, Sweden on May 12, 1959. Currently residing in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, he spends his time working as a consultant specializing in mechanical and structural engineering.
He is the founder of, Johansson Engineering Ltd, which was incorporated in the year 2004 in the province of Alberta, Canada.
Prior to becoming a self employed consultant he was employed at Allan R. Nelson Engineering (1997) Inc. as a senior engineer (consulting) for twelve years.
His education took place at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) where he graduated in 1992 with a diploma (honors) in Mechanical Engineering Technology and The University of Victoria in 1998 with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B. Eng. )
He is a member in good standing (P. Eng. ) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geo Scientists of Alberta (APEGA) as well as Eco Canada. As well, he is a CSA B620 registered design engineer with Transport Canada.
Areas which he has specific experience are forensic engineering, fire investigation, oil rig design, heating & ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), machine design and pressure vessels.
