They have the KIS Omni shoe boxes I like retailed cheaper than Canadian Tire. And I've exchanged a mirror I got at the Deerfoot Meadows location here. That "gauntlet" of a cash line is a bit long in my opinion.

I ordered a sectional sofa online and paid for local delivery. After patiently waiting for two weeks I decided to call and try and find out the ETA for local delivery. The JYSK employees redirected my call several times. When I finally got to speak with someone they were flat out rude. They told me that the delivery company had called and that I had not answered. I apologized and said to my knowledge I had not gotten any calls and that I would just like to pick up my order or get the delivery
re-sent. The call ended, they did not give me an ETA or the number for the delivery guy, and I doubted that they would " call me back." Because they had my order for two weeks but had not tried to email me, call me more than once, or treat me with any degree of professionalism.

So I looked through my phone and yes two weeks prior I had one missed call from an unknown number. The delivery driver was very kind and polite and was able to bring my order a couple days after. The local delivery company is not with JYSK I believe they are contracted out or something to that effect. The delivery company was professional and very quick to deliver, they were very good at handling my new furniture with care and respect.

JYSK needs to educate it's employees about being more friendly. At no point during my dealing with them did I get upset. I simply was looking for information which they were not very forth coming with. Assume the best in your customers and don't blame them for missing one call. Truly unprofessional.

This is my new favorite store! I can't believe I never been there before! Products they have are fantastic and so pretty, but prices are the same as Walmart and cheaper than IKEA! Incredible find!

This 36th ST location has serious employee issues. I have bought a bunk bed for my son 2 weeks ago and still haven’t received it, no calls from the store either with the expected date or anything. I was checking stock status today and the Deerfoot location has it, I am not sure why the employee didn’t advice me about the availability when they knew I needed it ASAP. I will be visiting the store tomorrow to cancel the order. The employee who was helping me with the order was not too helpful. I guess most of the employees in this store is like that based on the other comments in the thread.

Jysk. I shop here a few times a year and look for the surprise deal. They have great prices on household goods.

Store and stuff is great but these female employee on the floor not worh asking questions.

Had some issues with our bed that we bought from this location. We called them but the lady manager on the phone was rude and was useless but then went in to talk with their manager face to face and luckly we got Steve. Steve is an amazing person who helped us out and resolved our problem. He was also very patient with us. Thank you so much Steve for all your help.

great staff, good selection, lots of good deals. Kaley helped me out to find and pick out some good solar lights. Overall a great shopping experience.

Bought a day bed from JYSK a few days back. Original price $149 and it was on sale for $99. But they charged me $149 +tax. Next day I checked online again and it says it is still on sale for $99. I called the store and they told me to bring back my receipt and they will fix it. Went to store and to my surprise they told me to bring a print out of the same bed from online JYSK Website(means they don't know their own website). Then I have to e-mail them their own website page (as per manager they cannot fix it unless they see it through my e-mail or print out). So, worst experience at JYSK. After my e-mail, they simply refunded my $51 and didn't even apologized for the inconvenience.

The worst customer service and rude manager have experienced with the store located at 565, 36 Street NE, Calgary, Ab, Canada.
I selected a bed as birthday gift for my son at Feb 8, 2017, the manager; Steven checked the stock which he did not has one box of the item. He promised me that he is going to find from other stores and he will call me, but he has never called me. Finally, I walked into the store with my spouse on April 9, 2017, when we remind him. He said that; you did not pay on the spot that is why we did not call you. By the way, we bought the bed and asked him about the size of product which he has not knowledge and he measured manually. We have discussed about the size to confirm if it does not fit in his room we are going to return, he said as long items will be in the box we are going to return. We took the bed, which unfortunately it was oversize. We brought the item in unopened boxes back for returning on April 11, 2017, but Steven was arguing that he would not return it totally and the second option which he offered me that I have to pay him 20% of price ($ 944.98).
He was behaving extremely rude with me; he made me to call my lawyer to talk with head office of JYSK for refunding. If someone from management read my comment, please contact me for more details, how he unprofessional behave he did with me.

Totally disorganized store, misplacing, and then selling items that were purchased already, that were being held for pickup. Took a full month to be able to get a product that was supposed to have next day pickup.

Great location. Must navigate through the store. Good value for your money. It's a great place if you are starting out.

Nice selection of item, there is a lot of things to choose, the sales associate are good and helpful but most of the time no body is around to ask about the item, and most of the time the cashier is like a kids, it doesn't help very much, there is no idea about the item your asking for...
