Darci made us perfect small birch tree cake for our February 2017 wedding. Sampling the different flavours at her shop on the weekend was super fun and we ended up getting something totally unexpected. Thank you Darci!
We had Darci do our wedding cake and cupcakes. The hand-painted tree on our cake was so pretty and the cupcakes were delicious! So many of our guests commented how yummy they were. It was nice to find someone who can make a moist cupcake that isn't bogged down with super heavy buttercream. She seems to know how to get it just right and make it look good too!
Everyone loved our wedding cupcakes - they were works of art! Darci was so patient with us, helping to decide on flavour pairings and edible decorations to match. She even worked with another supplier to get us exactly what we wanted. We can't thank Darci enough for her support and the love that clearly goes into her delicious creations! Don't hesitate to trust her with your special occasion treats.
My fiance and I were trying to find a place to do our wedding cake, but after a couple of tastings at other places we started to become discouraged. Then we found Kake.
Our tasting was professional and well thought out. We loved that the tasting had 4 flavours different of buttercream and cake so that we could mix and match to find the right combination. We found the perfect flavour combinations that please both my fiance and I. We were thrilled.
On our wedding day the cake looked and tasted EXACTLY how I imagined/hoped, down to the very last detail. We thought with a 3-tier cake there would be a lot left over, especially with only 70 people, but everyone loved it and it was gone within 30 minutes.
Thank-you Darci, for taking the time and care needed to create our cake, as it turned out to be everything I had dreamed of since I was little.
Our wedding cake was outstanding! Darci did such an excellent job, and came up with a really creative design. Her customer service was awesome, and our guests are still commenting that it was the best wedding cake they have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend!
I have to say AMAZING !!! This is the second cake that Darci has made for me and she gets it rite every time . Not only does it look incredible but it tastes great too. Thanks Darci !!
Darci was wonderful to work with! The first thing she told us was that she makes her cakes with real butter (no shortening) which we really liked and appreciated. She set up a tasting for us and we sampled several flavors of cake and icing. We showed her a photo of the cake we were hoping to have for our wedding and she had no problem trying out a new idea. She made sure to caution us that it might not turn out exactly like the photo but she ended up making it perfect! Darci was very accommodating and was able to make the tiers different flavors each with a different icing flavor and not only did it look beautiful, it tasted amazing too!
