Great service. Fast turnaround. Friendly staff. This is the only store I go to for car related issues.

Got a flat tire, showed up on the first snow day of the year at 5:50pm (says on door it closes at 6:00PM). Opened the door and the guy at the front (Luke, I think?) greets me, tells me no problem on fixing the car. I went for a beer across the street and got a text message and voice call saying it was ready. I came back and said he would cover it this time as a courtesy - he could see I was stressed and he had already closed his payment system down. I was blown away! Then I get home and realize they cleaned and put tire shine on my tires. My car is a beater - a 1993 Toyota Camry. The fact that they treated my car with the care and respect that you'd expect for driving a nicer vehicle was unbelievable. I felt appreciated and have told many of my friends. It's literally been 4 or 5 years since I've had this kind of service. I will be writing a letter to the district manager about this experience, because I now have to go to Kal Tire for anything tire related I need. Great job!

I am blown away from how amazing their customer service is (which is so rare this day in age)! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and get the job done quick and perfectly! A big thanks to Steve and Curtis. I am definitely a life time client now.

Summer tires needed to be changed relatively quickly. I called Kaltire on a Monday morning at opening and went in for my new tires the following day at 9am. They were awesome, quick, efficient and professional. They didn't try to up-sell me on anything I didn't need and it took 2 hours from drop off to pick up, and that's exactly how long they told me it would take. I'm not paid for this good review as some mention below. I can't speak for the tires yet of course but so far our experience has been very good.

Great service for my vehicle. Im surprise that they dont charge me for the tire repair after an oil change. Recommended for friends and family.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. They must had figured i was green or wet behind the ears... they sure tried to take my wallet for a ride. My experience here was so negative that I seriously think some of these other reviews are false and paid for. *Please stop calling me, I have nothing to say further. Damage has been done and nothing you say can ever make me want to return or recommend Kal-Tire.

These guys were incredible. I came in at 4:30 on a Saturday with an emergency flat tire. They patched it, rotated my tires and put my spare away. I was happy to pay whatever they wanted to charge for such good service, but they didn't charge me a single dollar. They've made a customer for life out of me.

Poor communication and management. If you like Kal Tire but want service, go to 10999 40 St SE, Calgary, AB T2C 3B9. I have had two bad experiences at the 4704 location. It took a second poor experience to encourage me to write this review. Poor experience number one: I stopped by to see if I could put a new tire on for winter. They were busy, and told me to come back and gave me an appointment, and took my car make and tire model. I went back, on time, when they had me scheduled. They then told me that they didn't have any tires that would fit my car. They called around, and referred me a location that was another 20 minutes away, told me to show up and they would have my details, and the tires that I needed. When I drove to the second location, the manager had no idea who I was or that I was coming. They apologised, got me the right tire, and sent me on my way. My second poor experience was recently. I called to put my summer tires back on. Waited three weeks, but was told that the tires are stored off-site, so there was no way to sneak in for a last minute booking. I had a missed call from them informing me that I had the wrong location - but how could there be a wrong location if the tires are stored offsite? Called back multiples times, no answer. Day of - I call them to confirm my appointment. Go to Kal tire, drop off the car, and keys, attendant confirms appointment. Get repeated missed calls, telling me that my appointment doesn't exist. I regret ever coming back here, and will not in the future.

Impressed the technician caught two front "corner marker lights" that I didn't even know existed and I've owned the truck for Nissan Xterra for12 years.

Great place and Terry is awesome & straightforward to deal with. They hooked me up with better tires than Urban X could for $150.00 less and got them in within a few days.

I spent an hour looking for a GMC auto body shop because their address was wrong on Google maps. I wasnted to see if I could buy some new lug nuts and bolts for my tires, and as well to see if I could get the bolts taken off and refastened because I was attempting to do some work on it at home and the bolts on one tire were over torked. I was told at the GMC shop that I could only buy 3 bolts at a time, and that I wouldn't be able to get my tire done today because the technicians were off in an hour, it wasn't a regular procedure, and it risks breaking other parts of the tire, and if I did get it done it would cost me about $80. While all of this is somewhat understandable, it less than solved my problems and left me very frustrated. I stopped at this kal tire on my way home and they immediately took care of my tire, no hassle about me incurring risks over the tire, and they didn't charge me a thing. Though I don't know how the work and price is for larger jobs at this place I can tell you the customer service is stellar!

I went to this store needing a tire repair. Turns out the puncture was close to the sidewall and not repairable. I already know that my tires were close to worn out and we were in the middle of a major snow event so I opted to replace all 4. Received a good price on a set of Nokian tires, staff are friendly and helpful and the coffee is far superior to what is served in most places. Returned the next day for the recommended re-torque and was on my way again in under 5 minutes.
