Use any one of the hundred other shops on the west end. My husband volunteered to take my vehicle in because he didn't want me waiting in a shop for an hour with our ten week old baby. He arrived 5 mins early for appointment and waited in line for 10mins, and was then told my spot was given away because he was late. I had told them my tires were in storage and they didn't even have them out. I emphasized when making the appointment that I would be waiting with a baby so things would be done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thank goodness my husband had the foresight to take it in instead. What was meant to be a hour long tire change over turned into an all day affair. No offer of a shuttle so cost an additional $20 in cab transportation. And we were made to feel all these mistakes were my fault. No apology, no remorse whatsoever. Terrible service.

Lost 1 star for not having a shuttle service, I know all Kaltire don’t have it and perhaps all tire centres, but would be really nice to have even for some extra charge.

Before my appointment to get my new winter tires on, I had to retorque my wheels due to a flat. As it turns out, some shop prior to then had used air tools on my wheel locks - as I was (hand) torquing them my lock pattern snapped off in a lug nut. I called the lock company and they said it would be 4-6 weeks for a replacement key.

Kal Tire spent several hours trying to get my wheels off, trying their own keys and calling to ask if thdy could try heating the lug nuts (warning me it could damage the wheel paint). When this failed, I thought they'd have to go ahead with their last resort - drilling, cutting, grinding my wheels off. This would have taken hours of expensive labour and destroyed my wheels. Instead, a gentleman working there named Matt asked for the codes for my lock key, and was able to get the lock company to commit to getting a new key to us in the week.

A week later, the key arrived - but they had sent the wrong key. Matt, however, ordered a special tool and called to say they would have it by noon. By the end of the day, they got me rolling out of the shop on my winter tires - with no charge for the extra work they did or the incorrect key the other company sent.

Can't recommend them enough, especially since I was informed my temporary job was coming to an end 9 months early on the same day.

Very disappointed, spent quite a fair amount on new winter tires, due to some problems getting old tires off and them putting a tire on backwards and having to redo after we were told the car was ready, this became an all day event, during process they gave an estimate for other work they said needed to be done , ($400) had it not taken so long with the tires( close to 6 hours ) we probably would have had the work done but decided to wait. Well we took the car in to another shop , a certified shop, and we're told there was nothing wrong with car. Good news for me but not KAL tire, will be buying my tires elsewhere from now , guess spending $2000 wasn't enough

Very friendly staff and technicians. I dropped some wheels off to have the valve stems replaced and they had them ready for me the same day, and at a very good price! I will definitely come back here next time I need my tires done.

Call in asking for an appointment, they are booking for April 27th today is the 1st. Hey though if you drop it off on a random day first thing in the morning we will have it done same day...... umm thanks but no thanks I'll spend my money elsewhere, wait 26 days or lose a days pay nope. Call somewhere else unless a months wait or loss of pay is acceptable for you

Excellent service! It took some time to get it done but they fixed my flat and when I asked for them to change the tire again they were happy to for no charge.

Reliable Tire shop and repair center. I have been going here off and on for about 8 years feel confident getting my vehicle serviced here. I have bought tires from them at least twice, and have been happy. They will also repair flat tires that you have purchased from them for free. This has been an added savings that I didn't even realize until I recently paid full price for a tire repair elsewhere. Give them a try and you likely won't be disappointed.
