Their customer service is phenomenal. Why buy tires anywhere else

I had a car that I wanted a wheel alignment on. Parts were fine but they insisted I needed to replace the camber kit. The quote was ridiculous (parts alone were listed 4x higher than most parts stores and I even made sure that the brand/item numbers were identical). I brought it to St. Albert Honda for a second opinion and they did the wheel alignment and saw no need to replace the parts that were not actually defective. Lesson learned.

I called 5 times, each time I was on hold for 20 minutes and gave up. You just lost $2000 in revenue because you don't understand customer service, good job Kal Tire.

First time entering a business you would think that manners and a smile would be the introduction. Not so at this location depending on who you see first. Employees don't seem to know or care they represent an organization and they impact how potential customers feel about that organization.

Absolutely awful customers service, manners, and unacceptable wait time!
At 9:10AM a Kal Tire team member OMONTESA accepted my car to fix a leaking tire, according to the paperwork my car should of been ready at 9:45 AM. Instead, it wasn't ready at all after 9 hours of waiting! Disgrace!
All my tires were purchased from Kal Tire and are covered by warranty.
At 2:30 PM my husband called and asked: "when the car will be ready?" He was told that the car will be ready between 4:30 and 5:00 PM.
When we arrived at 5:30 PM the car was not even in the bay and we were told that they will be bring it in now.
After I said that I am not willing to wait any longer for my tire to be fixed, and I asked for an appointment. Chris G looked at the computer and told me that my appointment is for Thursday (almost a week from now ). Then I ironically asked if he can push it any further, maybe Saturday? He didn't detect sarcasm in my question and said: "it's done ". Expecting me to be a mind-reader to know what time and which day he finally booked me for! When I said "you didn't even ask me what time is convenient for me, and you didn't give me a print-out or anything with my appointment details," he asked "what time will be convenient for you?" Boy, finally some manners. What does one have to do through to get good customer service?
After holding my car hostage for 9 hours these people have the gall to be mean, unaccommodating, rude and hostile.
We own 3 cars and were always changing our tires at this location due the convenience, despite previous not so awesome experiences, and I never went as far as writing a review. But this time they went too far. I will make sure that all my family, friends, and colleagues will avoid this location.
I have the paperwork to proof this case!

I have to add that on the following Tuesday I received a phone call from the Sr. Assistant Manager and my tire was fixed in a timely manner, upon my arrival to resolve this unfortunate event.
I am very happy that my tire was fixed and hope that in the future the customer service will be friendlier.
I only enjoy writing good reviews, but sometimes the truth has to be told.

I get my winter and summer tires switched over here every year. Made an appointment last week. They opened a couple of minutes early the day of (nice, it was a cool windy morning). In and out in under 1/2 hour. Can't imagine a better tire shop experience.

Terrible customer service
This place has really gone down hill the last couple years.
As a small business owner myself I understand the importance of customer service and keeping promises
I have taken my vehicles here for years but I have finally had enough and will be taking all my business elsewhere as once again I was promised my vehicle could be serviced and repaired while I was working out of town for a couple days. So, I left it with them and upon my return I find out the vehicle never moved from the spot I parked it 21/2 days earlier.
If you are too busy just say so, don't make promises you can't keep

Once again, Kal Tire provides great value. I've been a customer longer than I can remember and I continue to be impressed. No surprise invoice, employees that both listen and care . Getting my vehicle serviced is what I wished the car dealerships would learn.
