Kal Tire

Needed new tires for work van didn't have any in stock but was able to make a call an have them in for the afternoon. Winter? Bring it on!

A while back my mechanic sent my truck here for an alignment. At the end of the day I picked my truck up from Kal Tire. But within minutes of driving it started pulling severely to one side and would make a loud thump when i turned the wheel. When I went back to talk to the manager to tell him something was very wrong, he started to deny any mistakes by his staff and made excuses how they are not responsible for any damage that happens before they get it (even though there was no damage to it going in) the conversation ended after 5- 10 min when he said he look at it but charge me an after-hours rate, even though I explained to him that there was something very wrong with the alignment. Next morning my mechanic looks at it and turns out the tech forgot to tighten the castor bolt, throwing everything out of whack. He phones Kal Tire and they re-align my truck. But at the end of the day I never got any apology for the mistake or the manager's unwillingness to help.

Hit a curb in a parking lot in the last snowstorm knocking my alignment out, had a wheel alignment done here to see what was wrong or maby bent, it was done an hour and a half later and i was told it was all good. Except the Steering wheel was still crooked, just to the other side now..... Car is also in need of a wheel bearing and I decided to take that somewhere else due to being unhappy and unsure of the alignment work done. while it was at this other shop I had them do an alignment as well, they called me and said it won't even take an alignment because some of the bushings and a control arm in one corner are so badly warn out......... just a Little confused about what went on with the first alignment at Kal that was 120 dollars? Definitely interesting.

Excellent service and more then fair pricing. Have had a few repairs done and it has always costed less then expected and have had no issues. Quick turnaround and knowledgeable staff. Joey is the man!
