Hi! My name is Laura Moignard and I offer Counselling services in Calgary. I strive to create a warm and caring presence, and a safe, non-judgemental space for my clients. Everyone faces a variety of challenges throughout life and I believe that each life experience that I've had to walk through, and heal from, has strengthened my ability to help others. I am passionate about seeing others grow, and find healing. I have gained most of my work experience as a Family Counsellor and by facilitating group counselling for children. I believe that each life is valuable, unique, significant and full of purpose. For some, spirituality is important, and I am capable of integrating this approach if you desire.

MY APPROACH:
I have a person-centred, down to earth approach with my clients. I draw from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Activity Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and interventions associated with Motivational Interviewing. What clients seem to appreciate most about me is my ability to show them new perspectives in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. Some of my greatest aspirations as a counsellor are to help you see your true self, discover your abilities, and find freedom. I believe that these are accomplished through partnering with you, instilling hope, building a genuine relationship, ensuring you feel heard, and helping you find solutions that support change.
