Hi Parents!

My name is Karen Wright and my husband and I own a day home in Airdrie, Alberta. I was a board certified teacher with a minor in special education working in the school system for a number of years. About 4 years back we made the decision that I would leave the teaching field in pursuit of more meaningful work.

We opened the day home to meet the needs of the community and to allow me to work with much smaller groups of children and feel like I am making a real difference in there lives.

Currently we have 2 providers working out of our 900sqft main floor space with tons of large windows to let in natural sun on all walls, unlike the dungeonious basement day homes.

2 providers allows us to transport children to and from school without interrupting your child's napping and eating schedule, as well as exposing them to unnecessary risks associated with transporting. Additionally we can allow for more face time with the Children as we have one that can do the cooking, cleaning and other work related tasks while the other spends time on crafts, reading stories and other fun related activities.

We are all a minimum of first aid & CPR certified and have all current police and vulnerable sector checks.
