Karissa'S Spiritual Journey

This is my Journey thru Spiritual Mediumship.

I am currently working on a Certified Mediumship Course, I am learning to quiet my mind, trust my intuition and listen to the voices in my head-without thinking I'm crazy! In conjunction with my Mediumship course I am working on becoming a Reiki Practitioner.

I started following Carmel Joy Baird a year ago, for those who don't know Carmel, she is an amazing Medium from Sherwood Park AB-check out the TV show Mom's a Medium! Winning VIP tickets to Carmel's Spring Psychic Fair changed the course of my life. No, I didn't just jump on a bandwagon, I have always said I am Spiritual not Religious, I have always felt Spirit and yes there have been times I have seen Spirit. But there have been more times that I have thought- these are just in my head, or what happened was just a fluke. After having 3 separate readings from 2 different Psychics and 1 medium all of whom told me the same thing basically- this is my path. I have since then had more readings, and as one Medium told me- If you ask any more you will become an ask-hole! ! So basically, believe in yourself! I guess I was waiting for that Neon Sign to light up and say "You are a Medium- so wake up! "

I enrolled in Carmel's Certified Mediumship Program to develop my intuition, to expand my mind and to help myself connect with loved ones. But there is so much more to this course- I am learning how to trust myself, to love myself, and to love others with a more open heart. I believe that we can all be a part of a greater movement in this world simply by showing each other loving kindness.
