Great service! Took my vehicle in for an oil change and an inspection. I really appreciated the honesty with regards to the repairs that were needed on my vehicle. Thank you!

I have only had good experiences with Kensington Auto. I have two 15 year old plus cars, every time we need work done, after inspection, the mechanic is very upfront and tells us what he would do in our situation. They have never once pushed more work than necessary and always give a recommendation based on what they would do personally if they were in the situation. I never worry about overpaying, they will fix exactly what is required by the most cost effective means. If other things are wrong they will give suggestions and timelines.

Honest, courteous, friendly Mechanics. Do their absolute best to be held to their word, when they say it will be done it is usually done at that time or earlier. I come here to do my scheduled maintainence and oil change.

Asked these guys to do a simple tie-rod replacement job. They weren't able to get my wheels off because of special anti theft bolts (not their fault) but they claimed that they could replace the tie-rod without taking the wheel off. 2 months later my tires are violently shaking and now I need both the inner and outer tie-rods again, this time somewhere more competent.

Had an appointment for 10am. Agent on the phone said it takes about 2 hours. We go back after 2 hours and they haven't even touched our car. Then they proceed to tell me we usually have to leave the car there for the day. Gee maybe you should mention that over the PHONE when I'm making my appointment? Or when I drop off my car? You know.. just in case we didn't know! Bad service. Never going back.

I often go here to wash my car. Can fully wash and vacuum my car for under $10. All equipment works well.

If you need an an out of province inspection or any kind of inspection, I suggest you look elsewhere. They will find a lot of things 'wrong' with your vehicle that would otherwise pass with any other mechanic that was honest and wasn't trying to milk you for more money.

Rental truck drove real nice. Nasty old racist worker in store called me a Paki punk.

Edit: Received call from store accusing me of falsehoods.

Not a single word of apology or acknowledgment that an employee mistreated and talked down to a customer...

"We reviewed the security footage and while the employee called you a punk, he did not use the word Paki."

What kind of an establishment allows an employee to insult a customer then calls to accuse the customer of lying?

2nd Edit: The owner response to my review is really an interesting interpretation of events considering the employee to whom I refer is in fact an employee of Kensington Auto. It matters nothing to me which company he was representing at the time. At the end of the day Kensington Auto is employing a man whose behaviour is utterly unacceptable no matter what company he represents at any given hour.

Excellent service at Kensington Auto! The staff went above and beyond when my battery died at the gas pump. They tested, diagnosed and replaced it within 20 minutes. No pressure sales and even offered assistance to procure a reimbursement from Honda. The phenomenal staff were exceptionally helpful. I highly recommend this shop as an extremely satisfied customer.
