The Kensington Pub has been open in its current form since its owners purchased the pub in 1993, but the pub is quite a bit older than that.

Its age gives both its charms and its downfalls. The space is quite small, but lets itself well to intimate groups. The upstairs spaces could easily be reconfigured to host larger groups.

The selection of beers here is great, and the food is quite excellent as well (few places stock the Radler from Vancouver's Parallel49, Kensington Pub does).

We sat up at the bar tonight. Had a few pints. We were well looked after. Samplers were offered if we were unsure about selection. Good start to a Saturday night. Appreciate it.

Came in today for dinner, had heard great things about the restaurant and were looking forward to this experience . Seemed like a good atmosphere, we sat down and immediately the waitress came up to us and rudely POINTED at my friend and said "what would you guys like to drink but I'm not serving HER" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Not only had we not had a drink that day, but we hadn't seen eachother in months and we were excited and maybe a bit loud. That's the only way I can try to understand this disrespect. We walked out immediately. I've been here before and it's been a wonderful experience. Please learn to at least have a simple conversation with your customers before you make these kind of accusations.

Amazing food.

Seating is sorta limited, and layout is interesting, but it all works with the feel of the pub. Has a cabin in the deep woods type feel to it.

Staff are always extremely friendly. Great selection of beers.

Best nachos I've ever had in the city. Make sure to add chicken!

I really like the layout of this pub it feels like you're in a cabin. Very good Cesar's very spicy!

A historical place that worth a visit. It is a particular and quaint place. Good food and drinks. The attention is really nice and the service is fast. Love the place. They collect bills from different countries so whenever you go there don't forget to bring yours.

Enjoyable and fun pub atmosphere. We came here craving wings and were looking for a cheap Tuesday special. $5.95 for 1lb wings on Tuesday so we thought it couldn't be too bad. The service was good and our food came out quickly (wasn't too busy). Well, the wings came out hot, but they were a little on the tough side. These wings are tiny (see photo). I likely won't be coming back for wings.

Came here on our recent vacation and I loved how relaxed their environment was. The staff was friendly and we had a very fun time!

My only complaint was the food wasn't the best but maybe it was just a bad day. Over all we enjoyed this place very much!! Would defiantly give them another chance if in town.

Was here for lunch on a Sunday. The food was good but the service was terrible. Our table had 2 kids and there was a table near us with another young child. The server was incredibly rude to children. Ruined the atmosphere of what usually is a great place to go.

A nice, cozy pub in Kensington. Lots of little side rooms to find a spot for you and your group. Highly recommend!

Went on tuesday for wing night. Was a nice atmosphere, not too crowded and great wings! We had the salted camel brownie for desert and it was excellent!

This is one of very few authentic pubs in Calgary. The food is amazing and the drinks are drinks. Servers are super friendly and provide great service.
