Kidsplosion Summer Camp

Kidsplosion is the summer camp run out of Hope City Church. Each camp runs for five days, 9am-4pm. A total of 6 weeks of camp all summer!

We run multiple weeks of daycamps over the course of the summer for children who have completed grades 1-6 (2016 /2017 school year). Our camps run onsite daily from 9 am to 4 pm and early drop off /late pickup is available.

All camps are scheduled in the same general manner and include gym games, chapels, group challenges, free time and a variety of crafts, activities and sports throughout each day.

Each week includes a “big event” day with a theme specific activity and, (weather dependant) field trips.

Kids are in different groups (some age specific and some mixed) during the day depending on the activity or challenge. Activities are both inside and outside (weather dependent).

Kids also have the opportunity to choose from a selection of theme based crafts and activities during the afternoons and have plenty of chances to build new friendships both with other campers and the volunteer leaders.

Campers need to bring a lunch every day to camp. A microwave is available for a hot lunch most days and if not the notice will be in the weekly camp information sent out prior to camp. This handout also covers other camp information such as dress up day or other week specific activities.
