The Kinette Club of Edson is a local non-profit group that helps gives back to the local community on many projects by supporting the Communities Greatest Need.
Kinette Club Of Edson Description
The Edson Kinettes work on many projects throughout the year, such as, but not limited to; working with the Lions Club to collect toys during the Motorcycle Toy Run in September, collect, organize and distribute the local Christmas food and Toy Hampers to families in December, we have hosted a concession to raise funds at the local Outdoor Youngs Hockey Tournament in February, in the spring we have assisted the Kinsmen with a spring Comedy Night and during the summer we organize and operate a concession during the local, but internationally known, Slo-Pitch Weekend on August Long. Many of our funds go to local organizations that benefit the community as well as to the Kinsmen to assist them in paying off the outstanding debt on the new Edson Spray Park for kids.
