What a busy week for the museum. We would like to thank Suzanne Plante for coming in for our summer activity paint days. We really appreciate it! We also recently had a tree fall down in our backyard. We would like to thank Charlie Prichuk and Grant Churchill for their help cleaning it up.
We love our volunteers! <3

Flashback Friday. Going back 100 years to 1918 when this cash register was first purchased. H.W. Walker used this cash register in his locally owned store.
Stop by the museum to see how it works and to get a closer look!
Check out some of the paintings from our painting activity yesterday! It was a lot of fun and we hope to see some friendly faces join us for next weeks paint! :)

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at our Elevator Open House on August 9th! And a special thank you to everyone who volunteered to work the open house, and set up and take down. We couldn't have done it without you! We hope that everyone had a good time! :)
The school house activity on August 8th was a success! The children who participated learned about what a day in a one room schoolhouse would be like, including an old-fashioned lunch! We hope to see you this Wednesday to paint a picture lead by the local artist, Suzanne Plante :)
Come take a look at the Grain Elevator while playing some fun carnival games! We will also be selling hot dogs and hamburgers so there's no need to cook supper. Bring your family and friends!

It's a dirty job but someone has to do it... our staff and board spent today doing our annual cleaning of the grain elevator. It's not a clean or easy job, but our employee Rayeann Saitz is making it look cool. Special thanks to: rayeann, Sydney Saitz, Ethan Weidman, Angela Saitz, Dianne Doerkson, Holly Malanowich, and Jennifer Churchill for a job well done today. Also thanks to Karen McLaughlin for covering the museum today. We are ready for the elevator open house on Thursday! See you then!

Yesterdays Teddy Bear Picnic. From our teddy bear scavenger hunt, teddy bear races, teddy bear picnic, and making teddy bear masks. These kids had so much fun!
For anyone that is having trouble finding us, hopefully this will help!
Our next summer activity will be our Teddy Bear Picnic! This activity is for 4-8 year old children. Bring your teddy bear! :)
Very nice staff, we enjoyed our visit a lot. So many great things to see.
More people should visit this local gem. First Nations history, local history and excellent exhibits of local fish, birds and mammals. The saw-whet owl is adorable! The grizzly is huge! And the attendant was very knowledgeable. She helped me find information about Kinosayo, the wise and thoughtful chief who signed Treaty 8!
Love going here every year! Always find something new!
