Thank you to Canadian Warmblood for this lovely article. We started our breeding operation 20 years ago and moved from a small scale operation to where we are now. Our focus has always been in picking the best mares “that our money could buy” and then choosing stallions that would complement these mares and the North American market in general. Through in depth research and trial and error we have been fortunate enough to create some pretty amazing horses that saw our vision come to light. Very proud of Jethro Tull G on being the overall top scoring jumper stallion for both east and west coast stallions at the NA Stallion Performance test! A huge thank you to the organizers as well as the hosts, Pollyrich Farms. KVF is very proud to announce that Jethro Tull G is the top scoring jumper stallion for the entire NA Stallion Performance Test with a final score of 8.23! He is now licensed with GOV, Hann, West, CWB and CSH and has completed his first step towards becoming fully approved with all of those registries. thank you to the hosts, Pollyrich Farms as well as the organizers of the test and the wonderful test rider Marion Ostmeyer who had wonderful things to say about Jethro. Marion truly is a master horseman and did such a fantastic job with all of the stallions. Black beauty really does turn heads everywhere he goes!

What an incredible week at the Royal West for the KVF homebreds! Izzabria (Tacorde x Calvados) who is now proudly owned and ridden by Tayler Vick was Champion 5 year old with scores of 90 and 93. Irresistible (Don Quixote x Indorado) who was ridden by Jen McGinn was champion in the adult hunters at just 5 years old. Graffiti (Tacorde x Burggraaf) who is now proudly owned and ridden by Tenaya Nahorniak was reserve champion in the 1.10m jumpers. Hooz Da Kat (Zeno x Tempranillo) who is still owned by KVF and ridden by Lorrie Jamieson was champion 1.20m. #canadianwarmblood #homebred #royalwest

We are nearly ready to get the fall classic age underway, auction starts at 7:00. Lincoln is lot #7 he has a clean set of xrays and a bright future! Next in for us is lot #11, Naminka who has been the best little girl all weekend. And then we have the exciting embryo from Jethro Tull x Tacorde! This video is the dam of the embryo during her under saddle demo this morning.

KVF will be well represented at the Fall Classic Sale this weekend October 5 - 6 with 3 horses in; Lot #7, 11 and 28. There is opportunity to view the horses both under saddle and free jumping on Friday and Saturday. The sale has some great vendors for additional shopping and we will have complimentary snacks and drinks Saturday from 4-6 with the sale getting underway at 7pm!
