The worst customer service I have ever experienced!

I have shopped at this store numerous times, however, I had some salespeople in the past that weren't so friendly, so it has been a few years since my last visit. I decided to try again and went there yesterday to purchase new bras and had wonderful customer service from Sam. She was so kind and helpful and really took her time with me. I would definitely go back to purchase a bra from her (in fact, I plan on it!)

Normally, bra shopping is tough enough. I'm in my early 20s with breasts that range from F-H, and a 34" waist. I never expect bra shopping to be the highlight of my day when I have to go. This experience was awful to say the least.
I got a sales associate who doesn't have more than an A-cup, and who clearly has never felt the pain of bra shopping when nothing ever fits right. First off, I found a style online similar to the bra I used to wear before it was discontinued (which was heartbreaking because the Fauve by Fantasie was PERFECT), and I gave her what I thought was the name. She scoffed, rolled her eyes and sighed, and then stomped over to a catalogue to try and find the bra I was looking for. She treated me like a giant imposition. I don't work in the industry, so how was I to know the name on the Chantelle website was just a generic style name? She flipped angrily through the book, then scoffed to her coworker IN FRONT OF ME about how unreasonable and incomplete my information was. Her coworker explained why it was tough to find and was very nice about it, but I felt so uncomfortable and out of place.
Then, seeing that I had grabbed a few bras off the racks to try on, she asked if they were my size. I said "no, but my manufacturer is no longer making the bra I like, so I'm expecting my size to change with the change of manufacturer." She then stomped over to the computer and looked me up in the system (while sighing and scoffing). Then, in front of the whole store, she said "they won't fit, but you can try if you want."
Immediate embarrassment. As if it wasn't already hard enough trying to find body armour that holds my girls in, now I was doing it and feeling self conscious. The experience went on like this, with snide comments, and her making me feel like a waste of time.
I left with one bra I like, and another that fits and was 50% off, but is kind of ugly. Overall, I'm happy with the bras I got (because sometimes finding something that fits AND looks cute is impossible, and I accept that), but very sad about the customer service. Going to Knickers n Lace used to be a decent experience, but now it feels like a place where you get judged for the shape of your body.

I was a little apprehensive to come here after reading so many bad reviews but my usual places for bras shut down recently so I gave Knickers 'n Lace a try today. I left very happy with my purchase and shopping experience. The employee who helped me was very thorough and attentive and the prices weren't as high as I feared they'd be based on past purchases I've made at other stores.

I was very nervous about going to a lingerie store. I first looked at the reviews online and then looked at their website. I found it very strange that their hours were not posted on their website and it made me not want to go. Once I found out their hours I went in a couple of days later. The store was busy and so the woman at the front took my name and the name of another lady who had walked in after me. The employee was not approachable and did not seem to appreciate all the potential customers in the store. I eventually met with a lady who would be helping me find a bra. (I think she might have been the manager.) She was very nice, and understanding about my nervousness and lack of experience with this sort of thing. I must have tried on about six or seven bras (with her explaining to me why they were not quite right so I could do it for myself when I need to) and I did not once feel pressured to make a quick decision or that I was wasting her time. At the end of it I ended up purchasing one of their lower priced bras (I found some of the prices to be a little extreme) and walked out very happy with my purchase. I will be returning to the boutique in the future, and would highly recommend.
