The staff is super rude. I went there on a prepaid event. No other club in calgary downtown has a problem giving me enterance on my international DL. This place denied me entry. What a buzz kill.

They want you to carry a passport, to a pub crawl. Think about it for once.

Don't bother going during Stampede.
The tent isn't "a lot of fun" like the bouncers will tell you when you're standing out front trying to decide if the Stampede $20 cover charge is worth it. All they played was country, and I understand that it's Stampede, but it needed some variety. A lot of the bartenders were completely incompetent. Twice I asked for a simple drink and they responded "I don't know how to do that". Another time they started making a drink only to pour it out and say the ran out of one of the things needed for the drink. The food was incredibly expensive. $8 for a tiny hotdog, $12 for a tiny burger. Completely ridiculous. Drinks are also at least $1.50 more than usual.
Around midnight they turned off the music in the tent and shut the doors that connected it to the actual club. Presumably you would have to leave the tent and then go to the front of the club and pay another $20 to get in there since they didn't give any sort of stamp when you entered the tent. We didn't stick around to find out.
Don't waste your time or your money here during Stampede.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a club. Not worth $10 for entrance fee. The staff were rude, the music was crappy. The bartender threw something at me trying to get my attention after I ordered a drink. Never going to place ever again. Complete waste of time and money.

Definitely wouldn't return. We paid the $10 cover charge to get in around midnight and ended up leaving less than 20 minutes later. The bartender served us quickly. The place was so packed, most of my drink was spilled before I could drink it. We stopped in the bathroom before we left and the floor was flooded. The toilets were disgusting. I just felt gross by the time we left. They would benefit from having a cleaner in the bathrooms and fixing their flooding problem.

Potentially worst event management in the industry. Paid for a meet and greet package and was never notified of a date change, showed at venue for original event date only to be told event had been re-scheduled to following week. When I asked how customers who had purchased tickets were informed of the date change, the girl responsed "well they weren't directly, but we posted it on our instagram"..... right.. now fast forward a week to actual event night. Tickets clearly state you must arrive between 8-9pm, prior to the public, to receive your wristband (fine) but 3 hours later all us fools with our wristbands are still standing around in a roped off corner patiently waiting and wondering when and if the event will ever actually take place.. I'm literally so unhappy with this establishment that I am standing here writing a 1 star review while still inside (a new personal low).

Had an overall good experience here. The music was country at first but then they started playing good stuff a bit later. It was easy to get a drink and the bar tenders were very friendly and even gave me a discount on shots because it was my birthday. There was also a drink special on so the drinks were affordable if you got the special, but otherwise drinks are expensive and the coat check is expensive too, $6 to check 1 jacket and a $3 charge to use the atm. Other than the bar tenders, the staff was relatively unfriendly but not outwardly rude, but it didn't take away from the experience much.
