The benefits of martial arts for children can extend beyond the dojang floor. In some cases they can be life long. Take a look at how your child (and perhaps you!) can benefit from enrolling.

This club has something to offer anyone who is ever considered trying a martial art. If you are just looking to improve your physical fitness or want to train for world class competition, you'll find it at Kodiak.

I joined 3 years ago with my kids, having never trained in a martial art, and we love it. It's a shared experience in a sport where we are starting at the same level. For their other activities I'm in the bleachers or sitting on a lawn chair watching, in Taekwondo I'm in my dobok learning alongside them.

I started this hoping to build their fitness, discipline & confidence; we found that along with great friends and role models. I wish I had done this when I was a kid.

Shout out to Alan Gosse, Shannon McMorran, Dwayne J Holmwood & Rasa's dad for helping me with my flat tire yesterday. I come for the Taekwondo, but stay for the outstanding community and family that you've crafted, and I count myself incredibly lucky to be a part of it.

I have been learning TaeKwon-do for 5+ years now and have finally earned my BlackBelt, 1st Dan at age 51 at Focus TaeKwon-do in Calgary.

This weekend I had the absolute privilege of sparing with Mr Holmwood at a tournament. As a 4th Dan, lets be clear... Mr Holmwood the Manager and Head Instructor at Kodiak TaeKwon-do could have literally knocked me out..lol.

I just wanted to say thank you for actually sparing with me, your control and speed was amazing, never mind the absolute respect you showed.

If you have ever thought of putting your kids in a sport, or trying a martial art, look no further. Character, respect and and a high level of performance are clearly Mr Holmwood's values... and Kodiak TaeKwon-do under his leadership would be a smart move.
