Having a mid life crisis I broke down and decided to get a mistress. A Mercedes SLR. I did all my research, compared pricing and options. Kulu had a fine example so I flew to Calgary to see it. I am well to do but am somewhat cheap with myself so it was difficult to pull the trigger and buy. I kept searching for my best option even after I saw Kulu and told him that, yet he didn't bad mouth anyone or use any used car sales pressures on me, but he took all my calls and even tried to help me and offer suggestions etc. Absolutely no pressure from the guy and extremely knowledgeable. His attitude was if he sold the car great and if he didn't he knew it would eventually sell. I researched him and turned out Lone Star Mercedes had nothing but good things to say, everyone in the exclusive automotive world in the Calgary area knows him he's been around forever and his integrity is top notch. He had the car inspected when he first got it but being me I wanted to confirm what he said about the car and took it to Mercedes and the inspection was confirm. The car cost more than I wanted to pay but Kulu was fair with the price and the transaction was so simple. I live in Vancouver, he's in Calgary, and yet the level of trust and his level of being in tune with my concerns was very comforting. No pressure, easy to deal with, knowledgable and above all incredible integrity. After I bought the car he helped to co ordinated a clear wrap at Thompson Graphics and oversaw the work for me, and then brought it to Mobile Solutions to install the Bluetooth and then still he set up with a shipper all the exotic car guys use to get my car to Van. He did all this without hassle or worry and at no extra surcharge or handling fee. He has a building full of beautiful vehicles and an apparent large turn around. From when I first went to see the car to a month later when I went to close the deal all but two cars were sold and a new stable of beauties were in his building. No shady character trying to make the a quick sale and not caring can be in that business for that long unless his attitude is on the long term and customer care as first priority. Take it from this semi paranoid buyer, Kulu's is the place to look when considering an exotic car and whether you buy from him or not he should be one of your calls when shopping around even when buying a car out of Province. If I buy again I will certainly be back and I know if I ever have any concerns or questions he will be happy to take my call. Thanks Kulu, I can't tell you how easy you made this experience for me.
