Although Registry Agents facilitate road exams as a service, it is important to note that the Agents themselves do not set the rules or regulate the examiners themselves.
This podcast sheds some history on the relationship between the Registry Agents and the driver examiners.
It sounds like the driver examiner regulating model requires an update and perhaps some modern tweaks. Driver examiners are regulated by Alberta Transportation, whereas Alberta Registry Agents are regul...ated by Service Alberta.

It is Alberta Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness week at Registry Agent offices throughout Canada.
On Wednesday April 24, KVP will have four recipients and one live donor available in our lobby to share their experiences and answer any questions on the subject. 11 am – 2 pm and possibly later into the afternoon.
We are also serving up coffee, juice and snacks.

An excellent refresher!
