Now this is the new swing Bas will own. I gave him a drill to force proper foot work. We also worked on his backswing to promote a better path. Huge improvement in a short time. He started getting the ball in the air and straighter shots.

At the start of the season I did a like/share contest. The winner was Cindy Kirby. She gave her free lesson to her husband Bas. We hooked up today and worked on his swing. This video is his current/old swing. There was a few things to work on but we started with his foot work. You will notice in the video the slide of his left foot on the downswing. His swing path was also off and he would hit low hooks to the right.

After each practice session make notes of key things that worked. It is important to make notes so you can reference them at the start of your next practice session. This helps promote consistency. It also helps you use your practice time efficiently.
... I ask my students to do this. PGA and LPGA Tour players do this. It is part of the Player Development Plan I use. I hope this helps.
