La Fondation Franco-Albertaine

(ENGLISH FOLLOWS)La Fondation franco-albertaine a été créée en 1995 par la communauté franco-albertaine dans le but d'assurer l'avenir, l'épanouissement et le développement de la francophonie en Alberta en permettant à la communauté de s'autofinancer. Elle a vu le jour grâce à l'Association canadienne-française de l'Alberta (ACFA) qui a fait tout le travail menant à la mise sur pied de La Fondation et qui a négocié une contribution financière du ministère du Patrimoine canadien entre 1995 et 1999. La Fondation franco-albertaine est une fondation communautaire ayant comme objectif d'agir positivement sur le développement social, culturel et économique de la francophonie en Alberta par le biais de la philanthropie, notamment en administrant des fonds de dotation et des programmes d'aide et des bourses. ********The Fondation franco-albertaine (FFA) was created in 1995 by the Franco-Albertan community to ensure the future, growth and development of the Francophone community in Alberta by allowing the community to become self-financing. It was created thanks to the French-Canadian Association of Alberta, which did all the work leading up to the creation of the Fondation and negotiated a financial contribution from the Department of Canadian Heritage between 1995 and 1999. The Fondation franco-albertaine is a community foundation whose objective is to positively influence the social, cultural and economic development of the Francophone community in Alberta through philanthropy, notably by administering endowment funds and assistance programs and scholarships. It is a community foundation supported by generous, passionate and dedicated individuals who want to build an autonomous, dynamic and valued francophone community in Alberta.
