La Palette Art Studio

La Palette Art Studio uses the European model of art pedagogy. We teach children through the study of the great masters of classical art, engendering in them a love of beauty while ensuring that a fun time is had by all.

Maria Shevtsov-Damgaard graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris with a MFA. After finishing her studies, she painted and had solo shows in galleries in France, Poland and Canada. She also ran her own art school for children in Vancouver, BC. After detouring into jewellery design and book illustration, Maria started teaching at a private school in 2016 and began a new art school for children in Calgary in 2017.
