Thank-you to all the participants who signed up and came out for the Camp-out on the beach. We had a blast. Played capture the flag, roasted hot dogs, ate smores and tons of treats. It was a blast!

Quick reminder that our Family Fun Day with Duck Races is on Wednesday, July 11 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Attend the office to purchase ducks. 1 Duck is $3.00; 2 Ducks are $5.00. All duck purchases must be made with cash. All proceeds go to the Alberta Children's Hospital.
If you are able to volunteer for this awesome event please let up know. We need volunteers from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Happy First Day of Summer Chaparral!
UPDATE!!! The Stampede Breakfast will happen rain or shine!
We hope that you come down this Saturday, June 23, from 9 am to 12 pm to celebrate the beginning of summer and stampede with us at the 2018 Annual Stampede Breakfast. Please remember to bring a non-perishable food donation for the food bank.... Please note that we only have pancakes for the first 1,500 people, or, until 11:00 am; whichever comes first.

... Additionally, please see below for an update from the City of Calgary: Glenmore Trail bridge removal to impact traffic this May long weekend Planning to head out of town this weekend? You may want to double check your route. Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, May 18, westbound Glenmore Trail will be reduced to a single lane between Deerfoot Trail and Blackfoot Trail S.E. The ramp from southbound Deerfoot to westbound Glenmore will also be closed for this construction project. Motorists travelling westbound on Glenmore through this stretch are advised to expect delays. The City is encouraging motorists to use either Southland Drive, or Memorial Drive as alternate westbound routes. This closure remains in place through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22 and accommodates the removal of an abandoned rail bridge. Information on this project can be found on Calgary.ca. The lake is opened for swimming; however, the water is only 11 degrees. BRRRRRR! Also, the tennis courts and beach volleyball are opened for use. Hope to see you all down here having a good time with family and friends.

If you are interested signing up for the next Good Food Box, please do so by 9:00 pm on May 17. All orders must be paid in cash. Remember a small is $25.00 for 20-25 lbs of fruits/veggies, a medium is $30.00 for 30-35 lbs of fruits/veggies and a large is $35.00 for 40-45 lbs of fruits/veggies.
Also, if you want to be entered in for the Early Bird Draw, for a chance to win back your fees, please have your fees paid by May 31, 2018.
